“Friendly, traditional little pub in the heart of Harefield. Have visited twice, receiving a warm welcome and good service on both occasions. The menu is limited, but the food is tasty and the portions generous. As it is cooked to order, you may need to wait a little longer for your food on busy days, but it is well worth it. The scampi and chips are yummy! I'm looking forward to my next visit.”

I'm not a steak person but for the first time I tasted a bit of my friends steak and it was actually really good - they referred to this as amazing and said it 'cuts like butter' the steak lovers loved it!! The ribs were absolutely delicious and fish and chips were also nice. All other side bits such as the mac n cheese, garlic mushrooms, Chirozo and garlic bread were also all very tasty. Although we were stuffed we went for sticky toffee pudding(also a first for me) which was very tasty and considering I am generally a chocolate person this was a great alternative. Will definitely be returning to try their buttermilk chicken (which had run out) and the gigantic fudge cake! :0)”

“Had an amazing evening celebrating my parents 50th wedding anniversary. Christine the manager went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Amazing food and location. Staff are very friendly and couldn't do enough. Highly recommend for a special celebration or for just enjoying a quiet meal/drink. Great place to visit all year round”

“We stayed here for just one night. Beds are comfy rooms are clean and tidy. Staff on reception was also lovely. Breakfast food was lovely but there was one member of staff (man) as the girls was so polite made you feel like you was an inconvenience breakfast was served between 8-10am we got there about 9.25am and he made us feel like we had got there at 10am. We had to wait for a table which was not a problem but when we was seated the table was not set up properly we had to keep on asking for things Milk spoons the girl realized there was no side plates and we had to ask for our toast twice. Maybe it was a busy morning”

“Don't get why some of the reviews are overly negative. Got a cheese chicken burger and sweet potato fries. It was really nice. Good portion size (the burger is really filling) so FYI worth going a little light on starters. My critique about the burger is the bun size is quite small conpared to the size of the chicken, so ideally they need to increase their bun size). Also it felt a little bit cold inside (maybe they left the AC on in error). Other than that, service was good and the facilities seem good. Thank you”

“This cafe holds a very special place in my heart. I've been a regular there for over 5 years. First thing in the morning on my morning commute, I'd sometimes be the first customer of the day. I ordered the same drink for all 5 years and it's always as good as the first time. Here's a little tip for any customer: don't give the baristas a hard time, they are human too. If you give them a hard time, the coffee won't be as good as it can be. They do what they do for you, and having been to this cafe for as long as I have, I've gotten to know a few of the baristas, and they are genuinely great people. During Winter, the vibe here is amazing. For me, the best time to go is early in the morning, when the cafe is quiet, and the music is your company. You really get to soak in the peaceful atmosphere before you start your day. I've also tried a good selection of the coffee, including the limited time coffee. The Black Forest Mocha is the best.”

“My family and I visited this charming pub twice while on holiday in the UK and always had a wonderful experience. The staff was always friendly, welcoming and attentive to our requests. The food was delicious and served hot. We chatted with the chef who welcomed our questions and advised us on the various sauces that accompanied our menu choices. Our family was particularly fond of the great gourmet burgers and my husband enjoyed tasting a good variety of the local brews (Henry the gaffer/bartender was very accommodating). All in all, a great intro to the British pub scene. Highly recommend for good food, drink and a fun night out!”

“Great pub on the Uxbridge Road, its spacious inside and has nice shaded seating outside. Staff are friendly and the quality of food is really good especially the pizzas. The Vine also does pub quizzes and shows sports on the TV. Good selection of drinks also offered. Definitely worth a visit!”

“We hadn't booked anything for mothers day and were beyond surprised that the team could squeeze us in for lunch. I can not tell you how amazing the food and service was especially as we hadn't booked. What was lovely that although we were told the table will need to be back within an hour and half we weren't made to feel rushed. If anything they service was like can I get you another white wine mum.Will definitely be bringing all the family back here. Impeccable service especially with two little ones. “Nice place that's surrounded by pubs. There are about 3 other pubs that are almost next to this. Good atmosphere, decent food and drinks both quality and price Good seats inside but the layout can get a bit of getting used to.”

“Staff are amazing. Lovely and very welcoming. That young indian boy is very generous and kind as well as the blond lady. They give me enough time to pack my laptop and other things away as they remind everyone 20min before that they are closing. Coffee is amazing too better than any other costa i have been to. Also left a £2 tip for the 2 that were working. If you see this keep up the good work!!”
