“Very accommodating for a party of 5 including a toddler and a baby. The staff were very friendly. The food was delicious and all tasted fresh. I ordered the Grant Close which came with 2 American style pancakes with fruit, cream and maple syrup on top, on the side there was avocado, halloumi, spinach and American style scrambled egg. I had curly fries on the side which were really nice too. My cappuccino was nice and creamy too but if you are a big coffee fan you might prefer a different place for your caffeine fix in the area. I'd highly recommend coming here, the best cafe in the area.”

“The pictures really don't do it justice. I thought I had had "good Italian food" before but this is a different league. "Pineapple juice" never looked this glorious before, very fresh. That octopus! Wow, great texture, a satisfying bite but not at all rubbery, somehow with an almost charred flavour. Then that mash, with flavours something like garlic? Apple? I don't know and I'm not sure I want to know how the magic is done. Why spoil enjoyable mysteries? The risotto main is stunning, what a showpiece, also delicious. Took my time to enjoy it both visually and to dig out and eat the meats. All the flavours balanced. So light tasting, but so filling. (I am a little bit in love with that fish plate). ...but for desert somehow my stomach found space. Pear and ricotta cheesecake, maybe some subtle spice in there? Again wonderful textures, melting but also with an enjoyable chew. Lemoncello, made by them, gorgeous smell, clean refreshing taste. No sugary syrup. Very pleasantly surprised. I could never cook this good and I wouldn't dare try. My words don't do it justice either. I could go on. Best to just come back here. ASAP. Definitely, the best meal I have ever had. I usually come here to get away from my home office and do some work. The food is amazing, the coffee is exquisite and the hosts/hostesses have never been anything but courteous, friendly and helpful. Suffice to say, I am now a regular!”

“I come to this fish bar so often because the food is always so good! The fish and chips are just amazing the batter is so crispy and the chips are lovely, moreish and plentiful, recently tried the quarter pounder burger and it definitely won’t be the last it’s delicious and perfectly cooked. “Ever since Great Wall has changed owners, the food is great and there are many more dishes available! The crispy chicken in breadcrumbs is really good and so is the lemon chicken, king prawns in breadcrumbs, and spicy smoked chicken. I have been to many Chinese restaurants and this is by far the best! I come here every week to buy dinner and my family and I love the food! The prices are worth it and the portions are reasonable! I highly recommend this place! Two thumbs up!”

“We placed an order on Deliveroo and the restaurant was closed but it still went their to deliveroo. So as the order got delayed I gave the restaurant a call and the owner fulfilled our order. Unknowingly the restaurant was closed! So he literally turned on his wood fire oven to fulfil our order. I mean, this truly is dedication to providing high service level. The pizza was amazing. As a first time client I will definitely remember this and I will come back and recommend this place wholeheartedly!”
