Lakeview Palace Cafe
● ClosedHornchurch RM12 4QU, United Kingdom“We were here just for refreshments but if I knew of this place in advance, we definitely would have had a munch here but from what we got, they were nice, can't go too wrong, so nothing bad to say The place it self was nice but the views you get from here is its USP for sure, especially on a nice day, weather wise. Getting here via public transport, Elm Park (District line/Hammersmith & City) would seem to be your best bet. Suttons Avenue (Stop S) via 165, 365 and 372 for buses. If around here again, we'll grab a bite next time.”

WatchHouse Roastery
● Open“I had the pleasure of experiencing WatchHouse Maltby Street yesterday, and from the moment I walked in, I had a good feeling. I was greeted by their front-of-house, Lea, who was so kind and welcoming. She made me feel right at home and was more than happy to answer any questions about the cafe and the area in general. The space is beautifully designed, with a bright and inviting interior. It has a large area at the back where they roast their own beans, it’s fascinating to watch the baristas at work. The manager there, Ani, was incredibly knowledgeable about different types of coffee and suggested a few roasts for me to try, which were all fantastic, what a lovely guy! It was the perfect place to sit for an hour or so, catch up on the news and enjoy a delicious flat white. The coffee is some of the best I've had in London: It was rich, smooth, and perfectly brewed with absolute care. The thing that really stood out to me about this cafe was the sense of community. The staff are all so friendly and genuinely care about their customers who come from all walks of life: journalists, finance bros, tech bros, photographers, designers, curators and brickies!... I saw them chatting and catching up with many of their regulars, which is always a good sign. It was clear that WatchHouse Maltby is more than just a place to grab a coffee, I suspect friendships have been made, ideas brainstormed, and even romance has budded there. I’ll definitely be returning to this cafe in the future, and recommending it to my coffee-loving friends.”

Samara James
● Closed“Purchased my wife's engagement ring from here a couple of years ago and unfortunately the diamond had come loose. When I informed Samara James they provided a next day courier service to collect the damaged ring and have completed two repairs over the past month. The customer service team have been very attentive and have shown a lot of empathy in regard to my concerns of such a sentimental ring breaking. I was aligned a dedicated representative from Samara James and they kept me updated on the status and on-going progress of the ring throughout. Following a few conversations with Samara James I am confident that they supply high quality jewellery & will support me post sale which is just as important. Will certainly be the first place I look for future jewellery purchases.”

● Closed“I've been coming to this store for the past year, the staff are amazing and friendly. As I live nearby, and during this global crisis I'm stuck in my apartment self isolating/ shielding. I called the store, ordered my items and the friendly staff delivered it to my door. Staff are honest and good people...People don't shop at the big stores like tesco or sainsburys, shop local and help small businesses. Thank you to Maluch Express for the delivery. 10/10.”
