“I came here for breakfast with my friend for her birthday and the staff took time out of their busy morning to sing happy birthday to her and light a candle on a cake! They were very accommodating. I come here frequently and the coffee is perfect, I’m very particular on my coffee and this place does amazing coffee! The staff is beautiful and the variety of this place is amazing Thank you so much again lovely staff, you’ve just earned yourself a new regular x”

The decor is so creative and colourful, the smells are wonderful and will make you want for more and the background music is lively. They remain to be my favourite truffle pasta in all of London. The dessert and cocktails are quite the surprise too!”

“Wonderful night out in a quirky place. Copeland & Bussey Building in an eclectic mix of bars, eateries and shops, but a meal at Oi Spaghetti topped the evening off nicely. Small menu but superb flavours, generous portions, and well cooked. Lovely staff and excellent chef!”

“As an experienced diner who regularly eats at Al la Carte restaurants every Saturday evening I was lucky to come across Giacomos when searching for somewhere different to try. Crisp white linen table cloths were greatly appreciated as so many restaurants think it is trendy to eat from formica tables despite claiming to be high end. Since our first visit during which we could not fault a single thing we immediately booked to come back within the next two weeks. The staff are friendly and attentive, but not intrusive, and the food is good quality beautifully cooked. At the time there was a small party celebrating a birthday who were all enjoying themselves and from an onlooker received excellent service throughout right down to the end of their meal when they were served champagne. This week we discussed how lovely the lighting is, not too bright but a warm glow. I have eaten every variety of meat they have on the menu. The liver, veal. steak and lamb were all cooked to perfection. It is also nice to see people made an effort in the way they dressed which not only showed respect for the restaurant but for other diners. Who wants to see workman's jeans when you have dressed suitably for a lovely evening meal in stylish surroundings, keep them for the burger bar. .”

“First time trying and really enjoyed it. The new space looks really good, really light and has a nice feel about it. Was 3 of us and came to about £55 but we definitely ordered more than needed with coffees. 2 of us shared the mix gyros platter, one had eggs and avocado and share a couple of sides - the sausage in particular was Delish. Really tasty and generous portion - the gyros meat was nice and crispy and moist - as good as we’ve had in Greece. 2 minor things which were a bit negative. Firstly the eggs were a bit cold - suspect due to sitting around while they got the platter and sides sorted. We ordered tzatziki and pitta as sides, we probably should have worked out (and does say on menu), but would have thought the waiter would have mentioned the gyros platter did come with that those as we would have tried perhaps hummus or another side. Overall, great spot, friendly staff, tasty food and felt value for money. Would recommend and return.”

Similar to what another reviewer mentioned; too often you order "classic" neopolitan pizza and the toppings either slide off, or there is no crunch and you need to use a knife and fork - that is not the case here. Bases are immaculately firm and crispy, toppings are generous and high quality. Just an all round top drawer pizza”

“My husband and I are so pleased to see L'Assaggino opened in Kingston after our lovely experience at the Richmond restaurant. The staff at lunchtime today were very pleasant and helpful, the menu was varied & interesting and the food was absolutely delicious and very reasonably priced considering the very high quality of it; the wine we chose was so nice we wanted to buy some to bring home. We look forward to returning to what could well be our new favourite local. Well done to the whole team there, we wish you all continued success.”

“Delicious lunch. Staff was very friendly and attentive, and the service was great. One member of our group is gluten-free and has many options available for them. We had the roasted octopus, seafood tagliolini, and mushroom tagliatelle; and a side of chilli garlic broccoli. All delicious. Would definitely return”

The restaurant was already busy at 7.00pm on a Wednesday I think this shows how good the restaurant is. I'm delighted I have tried this restaurant and all because of their support of a takeaway stall outside that I went there.”

“The pizzas are really nice, somewhere between traditional Italian and American style and definitely satisfy that pizza craving. I do miss the traditional smokey flavour you get with a wood fired oven but by no means reason to drop a star. Great value and delivery by them was quick and friendly. Will be back!”

“Absolutely delicious, extremely value for money for what you get. I had. Steak, was huge, melt in your mouth and cooked to perfection. Tiniest bit of fat (about the size of a 5p) and the rest was all meat!!! Chefs special tiramisu is incredible. If you haven’t been for the lunch menu I also highly recommend it. It is only available mid week which is sad and would love to see it available on weekends.”

“Visited this new Gem on a Sunday evening and we live in Kentish town, I had the chicken in mushroom and cream sauce and my partner had the pasta bolognese i have to be honest they both tasted amazingly fresh. I don't get the bad reviews written :S this is a new restaurant and Kentish town needs a family run Italian restaurant lets support them, instead of bad reviews give them examples of what you would expect to see from them, just like we did and got a limoncello shot on the house. Many thanks for the evening guys.”
