“Went to the Growler stop for first time last night. Great, helpful and pleasant staff. Lovely welcoming atmosphere. Very extensive beer menu that the staff will help you with. We sampled quite a few across the range, pale ales, ipa’s, bitters and stouts and they were all lovely. We will be returning and next time our wives said they’ll come with us and sample their gins :-)”

“Another very good and comfortable stay. The staff at the hotel and also the Beefeater are lovely, friendly and creates a very relaxed and welcoming atmosphere with a local feeling, despite being in a heavily industrialised area. Very warm and welcoming and will stay again. The restaurant itself was closed but the bar was open and we were invited to use the bar area for ordering in a delivery, as were the other guests. It worked really well.”

The iconic bridge which is at least 500 years old really adds to the character of Farningham. This pub is amazing for families and we often take our kids who enjoy being outdoors. I had to run away twice as I felt in danger. Please try to see who can't behave and if they are not behaving properly while intoxitated ,get them out. Otherwise all great, good vibes. “This Summer my wife and I had the pleasure of two short stays at the Black Horse Cottage B & B in Bean, Kent. The experience was very good indeed. The facilities are all very good, extremely clean and well kept by Kim. She also cooks the breakfasts, which are prepared to your liking. You can choose the full English or something less if you wish. It was very good value for the money and we hope to return. I would not hesitate to recommend this establishment to anybody.”
