“Nice new building with athletics track. Friendly helpful staff and Costa cafe. On Sunday afternoons people with disabilities and their families can use specially adapted 3 and 4 wheeled cycles on the track. The cycles are provided by Cycling Projects Charity "Wheels for All".”

Very friendly place and we are so lucky to have this in the local area. It's decorated beautifully (and often for the seasons). “Never been or heard of Ripley curry Garden before but the reviews looked good so decided to try it. AND, we weren’t disappointed, the restaurant was packed on a Tuesday evening, and a steady stream of takeout collections; good sign of a good restaurant, the atmosphere was great, staff attentive, food amazing. Will definitely be going back and spreading the word about this gem of a curry house. Not overly expensive, on part with our usual place. Only down side, it wasn’t local for us.”

“A really excellent meal. The stand out dishes were our starters - beef carpaccio which was excellent and an equally good trout in Thai green curry. So good in fact that I forgot to take photos and just ate them instead! Did remember to take pics of the main course though.”

“We love going to the Jovial. The team are always absolutely lovely and go out of their way to make you feel as welcome as possible. We popped down for Mother's Day and enjoyed the carvery with a group of 14. “Wonderful pub with great food, eaten in there with Friends a few times and always left happy the food is excellent as is the beer, I Normally go for the BBQ chicken wings with chips and I must say absolutely delicious and the pub has a good atmosphere and very friendly staff, we normally eat there at lunch during the week so not too busy, perfect, great pub.”

“I really love the Anchor. Such a fine example of a friendly, relaxed public house, and that view, it really is something to marvel. I often end up here just before the rush hour starts if the weather is nice . Weirdly I've never struggled to get a prime seat and have always been delighted by the service here. I highly recommend it to anyone looking at their watch and realising its pimms o'clock! Food looks great but that's something I am yet to try. I shall update that once I've returned but I'm sure it's just as good!”

“A lovely meal! Since moving to the area we have been nothing but disappointed with the indians we have ordered. After looking at some reviews for Eastern Taste we decided to give it a go. Absolutely delicious, ordered the menu for 2 with some extra starters which was perfect for 3 adults and great value too. We will definitely be making this our regular.”

“First visit today to meet a friend for breakfast. They have a nice selection of breakfast options on the menu all freshly cooked once ordered. The staff were very nice and we had a warm welcome when we arrived. The service was excellent and very attentive. The food was very good and generous portion sizes, You also get unlimited toast and preserves with your order though we couldn't eat too much of that as the main meal was so filling. It was reasonably priced too, there were 4 of us and it worked out at £9 per head when the bill came. Will certainly go again we had a nice visit and a good first experience.”
