The chick wings are also a standout, with a crispy exterior and juicy interior that is packed with flavor. The onigiri, are also a must-try. They are a great option for a quick and satisfying snack or lunch. The service is friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is cozy and inviting. Overall, I highly recommend Junsei for anyone looking for a tasty and authentic Japanese cuisine experience.”

One mishap, while booking a reservations online I did not see there are bookings for Italian and Asian kitchens but you can order certain items from the other menu such as oysters. Very well trained waitstaff and service. Appropriately timed dishes. You do not feel rushed. You get your moneys worth. The drinks were very delicious. Reservations I would say are required. The limited time only cigar dessert was phenomenal as well as the presentation. The Greek salad could have used more ‘oomph’ like onions and cucumbers.”

“Food is exactly how it should be, tasty and irresistibly moreish! Thus far, I've had the special fried rice, King prawn balls and BBQ spare ribs. The King prawn balls are both crispy on the outside, and fluffy on the inside and the prawn has a slight bite to it and is juicy! The BBQ dry ribs are very tasty and not too dry (like I've tasted from other Chinese takeaways and even buffets!). The special fried rice is perfect without being too greasy/dry.”

“Was a great lunch out. The staff were amazing and helpful seeing as we were the first through the door. A small but comfy restaurant doesn't feel crowded with a lovely Alpine feel. The food was lovely. The Pate was quite rich so but still very nice. The prawn cocktail was well made and they weren't stingey with the prawns. Our main of the vegetable fondue was nice and the vegetables were nicely prepared. Will be returning to try out the different options on the menu.”

“Amazing authentic Chinese food, we ordered a few of my favourites, lamb skewers, Mapo Tofu, green beans. Have to say this was the best Mapo Tofu I've eaten in London, it actually had a decent MaLa flavour to it, something no other place has properly done, and the tofu was firm. The lamb skewers reminded me of Street Food in China, the flavour was just right. I will be going back again for certain, there are many dishes I'm eager to try and see if they're also as authentic as the food I had.”

“One of the best dim sums and roasted duck in London, without a doubt. The prawn and chive dumpling is the juiciest and best dim sum you'd ever tasted in your life. Also recommend the pork/prawn cheung fun, Shanghai pork dumplings, vegetarian dumpling in chili oil and a portion of roasted duck is a must. The service is friendly and impeccable, the only downside is due to the popularity, you'll most likely have to wait in a line. But the food is definitely worth the wait!”

“Went here on a Thursday for a sisters night out. Got to say, was definitely not disappointed with this little gem! The staff were really lovely and couldn't do enough for you. Very polite and attentive. Very relaxed atmosphere with nice decor. Food was amazing; we had salt and pepper chicken and squid (highly recommend) with noodles, rice, two chicken dishes and duck with pancakes etc. A little more pircey than the typical Asian cuisine but definitely worth it considering the quality. Was not greasy whatsoever, just very tasteful and unique. They also let you take home anything that you don't finish, which is an added bonus.
