“We had a family meal with 7 adults and 3 children, everyone said the food was excellent. The steaks and lamb shank were cooked to perfection as was the seafood pasta dishes. We all had a great time. So a big thumbs up to the staff.”

Generally the foibles of our group were catered for cheerfully. A good muscadet complemented chicken in three different guises and sweet and sour pork. Duck as a starter. “Had an amazing dinner here. The friendly service, delicious flavours and calm atmosphere make it a great place for a small group or date night. Highly recommend the crackling spinach - I’ve never had better spinach before. The cauliflower was also amazing. Just beware about the spice levels - we got the duck dish which had a lot of heat! We enjoyed it but others could find it too spicy”

“I reached out to OKA to help me with a special request putting together a custom sushi "cake" for my partner's birthday. To say the least, I was not disappointed (see pictures!!). The staff were extremely attentive and I got to speak to the chef directly to discuss the ingredients and decorations of the cake. They even added extra details like gold leaf and floral decorations! The cake was delivered at a specified time to our doorstep with sushi condiments and a sparkler candle included. My partner and I are very impressed with the service and attention to detail. Thank you so much to all the staff that helped make this happen!”

“Xin Kai our new local Chinese restaurant. We went for the first time to check it out. Food was delicious, I loved the menu which has large pictures that are really helpful with making your choice. Staff were really friendly and helpful too. We will definitely be going back.”

“We had dinner here yesterday! Absolutely loved it! Generous servings, home cooked meals and very friendly staff. We had beef brisket pho and satay chicken for main which are both very tasty, but the highlight of the night for me was the mixed starters of prawn toast, satay skewers, spring rolls and ribs - postios were very generous, everything tasty and was not oily at all unlike other shops. Will definitely come back to try the clay pot dishes and maybe the buffet too!”

“It's nice to go to a restaurant where they fill up your water glass when you're close to finishing and place your serviette on your lap. The Dragon Inn is on the prices side compared to other Chinese restaurants but you get what you pay for and the food is absolutely delicious. Would highly recommend and to book for popular evenings (Friday night etc) we ordered so many delicious starters we didn't get to a main course. Will try again next time.”

“I really like the food here, especially the noodle dishes and the Dumplings which are both made in house. Food is always made fresh when you order it. The portion sizes are huge as well hence good value for money. My favourite is the braised beef noodle soup, try it out!”

“Excellent cafe I had the pancakes breakfast number 1 that came with pancakes bacon sausage hashbrowns scrambled egg and toast all beautifully cooked and super tasty. The cafe itself is very clean and tidy with very friendly helpfull staff. The menu is stacked with all foods from super health to super treats and also great milkshakes and beverages.”

“Authentic Chinese food at very reasonable price and large portion. This place locates in an alley almost missed but very glad we visited. The bun is juicy and full of flavour. Both of the noodles have a lot of flavour and decent portion with hand made noodle and meat. Strongly recommend!”

“Always a Reliable Choice. We've been using this Chinese Takeaway for many years and never had a disappointing meal. Quick & accurate on the phone, pleasant service and food ready in about 20 minutes; Always fresh, hot and good. Portion sizes are large and prices seem fine to me. I can strongly recommend this place, call them up when passing Rayners Lane on the Met and your dinner is ready for collection as you pass the shop.”

“Expensive but delicious, sweet and sour prawn balls and vegetarian hor devours. Only suggestion is to have slightly larger steam holes as it was a bit steamed by the time it arrived. Will visit again for delivery order, ordered on Google Just Eat. Due to price though wouldn't be too often.”

“Food was great, biryani was very tasty and portion size was amazing. Butter chicken was good but could be abit more tasty...they sell halal food however they also sell alcohol so be aware of that if you mind...they also had karaoke the night I went so it was abit loud, but we didn't mind”

“It’s not very often that I leave 5 stars but Happy Villa is certainly worthy of it. Was only passing and saw it was open so chanced it - the food was fresh, really tasty and surprised me on how good it was. Portion sizes were ample and the chicken satay was spot on - not greasy at all like some places and the sauce actually had peanut chucks in it. Would highly recommend you try this place out. They accept card but for a small fee.”

“I'd always seen this place walking to work and finally decided to try it last night. The food was excellent; I tried the special prawn and mushrooms with egg fried rice. They are just slightly pricier than your everyday Chinese takeaway but it's obvious they are using much higher quality ingredients. And the taste was fantastic, nothing overdone, cooked brilliantly, and the rice wasn't just a big blob in the shape of the container, they were perfectly cooked good quality rice. Will be ordering again tonight!”
