Xi Home Dumplings and Buns喜家饺子店
“A nice place for dumplings! We enjoyed the lobster dumpling, it’s a bit pricy but it’s very fresh and worthy to try! Dan Dan noodle is nice too. We enjoyed most of the food here! If you pay by cash will get 10% discount.”
Bun House
“Amazing buns. Read other reviews about the fries being good, and boy were they right! Absolutely wonderful. Seating is very limited so it's hit or miss if you want to eat there. They have a great take home if all else fails.”
Wing Wei Chinese Food
“Love this Chinese and the people that run it … been coming here for years! Everything is so tasty! I mourn when they are closed for holidays - only place for me :o)”
Three Uncles
“Popped by for lunch and got the 2 meat lunch box set (roast duck and crispy roast pork). Portions were decent compared to other canto bbq lunch restaurants in London. The meats were also top standard for lunch and you also get a portion of veg. Decent amount of seating and the place in general is very clean with a modern interior. The service is very friendly. My only comment is their additional sauces are 1 pound each which is too expensive in my opinion.”
Ye Ye Noodle & Dumpling
“Authentic Chinese food at very reasonable price and large portion. This place locates in an alley almost missed but very glad we visited. The bun is juicy and full of flavour. Both of the noodles have a lot of flavour and decent portion with hand made noodle and meat. Strongly recommend!”
Wing Lee
“Having lived in multiple UK cities this is by far and away the best Chinese takeaway I’ve ever come across. Luckily I still have family close by which allows me the occasional visit to Wing Lee. Highly recommend!”
Peking Palace
“Always a Reliable Choice. We've been using this Chinese Takeaway for many years and never had a disappointing meal. Quick & accurate on the phone, pleasant service and food ready in about 20 minutes; Always fresh, hot and good. Portion sizes are large and prices seem fine to me. I can strongly recommend this place, call them up when passing Rayners Lane on the Met and your dinner is ready for collection as you pass the shop.”
Shan Shui, Chinese Kitchen
“Great food and bubble tea. The Shan Shui dumplings were a delight, they have different coloured skins, for example the pink colour from beetroot juice. Tempting spin on eggs Benedict, which comes with roast duck. They carefully asked about allergies which was a good sign they cared. They were a little understaffed so weren't able to open the section with the view, other that the food and service was great, it will be my go to place at Terminal 2!”
The Good Earth
“As a Chinese who grown up in China and have been living in the UK for many years, I wouldn’t say this place has very authentic Chinese food, but it doesn’t stop it being an excellent restaurant. The food was really nice and the staffs are very friendly. They have reinvented the Chinese dishes to fit the British taste, but it’s still nice and kept the inspiration of Chinese food.”
Van Hing
“The food is always consistently delicious. The staff are lovely and the prices are very reasonable. I love the chicken pho, the meat spring rolls especially.”

McChina
“As a Chinese person, the quality is very good and we love the food! The staff are very friendly and the restaurant has a warm atmosphere. For delivery, make sure to order earlier as delivery time, because of many orders, can increase. Highly recommend.”
The Good Earth
“Fantastic dinner experience! The food was very tasty and the staff were incredibly attentive. The chicken with cashew nuts and beef in black bean sauce were particular highlights. I would highly recommend a visit.”

“Epic Malaysian food and all Halal. Although I didn’t order much, what I did order was exceptional and enjoyed every moment of it. The service was impeccable and even gave us a photo snap for my date. 4.8 out of 5”

“Great experience. We went for the Taste of China tasting menu which was amazing, and the waiters are very attentive. Only real complaint is that it is ridiculously hard to book a table, and we had to book months in advance. We also had to rearrange several times due to govt restrictions which of course isn't the restaurant's fault but in that time the price of the menu increased by 46 GBP a head which is not small. That being said, once we arrived the experience was amazing from start to finish.”
Pot and Rice
“One of the best places for Korean/Chinese style rice bowls in Elephant and Castle! The Taiwanese fried chicken starter (Pictured) is also juicy and really well seasoned. I always have the Chinese salami (pictured) rice bowl and it never fails. On the other hand, my partner had the pork and bamboo which had a quite strong fish sauce flavor but was still nicely smoky and well cooked. The portions are very large so come with an empty stomach. Still, I do believe they could lower the prices, 9 pounds for a starter and 14 for a main that is mostly rice, is a bit much.”
Peking Chef
“This has to be the best Chinese takeaway in North London. The food has so much flavour. I’ve been eating here for many years and the food is consistent. Every now and again I’ll try somewhere else and regret my decision. Added bonus is the lady who runs the show at the tills... She’s wacky and full of personality.”
My Neighbours the Dumplings - Clapton
“Always wanted to visit due to great reviews and name! Can’t believe it took so long! The food is amazing! Great selection, and really good combinations! Next time to order all the dumplings though! Might be the best I had so far! Flavour, stuffing, dough, was all just perfect!”
Hare and Tortoise Chiswick
“The staff were super friendly. Food came quickly, and was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend the katsu curry!”
Shaws Pie and Eel House
“Great service and food - excellent value for money. Just the ticket on a wet November weekend. Put a smile on my face. Thank you and see you again.”
The New Lucky House
“Still the best hot and sour soup in Orpington, and probably Kent!”

“What makes this restaurant so special isn't just that they elevate Indian cuisine to spectacular levels (and, wow, they do!) it's also the warmth of the staff every time. Highly recommended for a special occasion, and I keep going back!”
