345 Nursery School Balham
● Open“I cannot recommend Oaktree highly enough. I couldn’t have hoped for a better introduction to the world of schooling for both my daughters. Oaktree is committed to working with parents to produce well-rounded, happy, inquisitive and settled children ready to take the next steps of their learning journey with enthusiasm. I feel that the nursery has done a fantastic job of getting my children ready for primary school, not just by providing them with a solid foundation in the early years curriculum but also by focusing on their personal and social development. I love the focus on “fun” in everything that they do at Oaktree – amazingly the children think they have been playing the whole time and come out learning loads. There are so many creative, play and learning opportunities available from sport, to Spanish to yoga and science that there is something to keep every child busy. Oaktree strives to work in partnership with the parent body and over the years has taken on many parent suggestions to improve facilities and the use of technology to enhance the experience of the children and parents. I have loved being able to access Tapestry to see what Lilah was doing every day at nursery and was impressed with the level of detail provided by the staff members. Oaktree is a truly local nursery. Shape hunts around the neighbourhood, number hunting at the local grocery store, trips to the Fire Station, performances for the local pensioners, all help instil a lovely sense of community in the children at a very young age. Finally, what can I say about the Oaktree staff members. Both my girls developed strong bonds with their teachers that have persisted long after their time at Oaktree. I love the fact that both co-owners of the nursery, Jill and Katka, are deeply involved in the day to day running of the nursery and interact with and get to know every child. My elder daughter thrived in the warm and nurturing environment provided by her teacher Ms .Lee and Lilah, despite being quite young for her year, has bounced off to school confidently because of Ms. Chantelle’s support. We will miss our time at Oaktree!”

Cheeky Monkey's Day Nursery
● Open“My child loves this nursery. He looks forward to seeing sheetal (owner). He has developed so well by doing various activities throughout the day. He loves the food here, he used to be a fussy eater but with sheetal's efforts and her yummy cooked meals my child started to eat everything. I highly recommend this nursery to anyone. This nursery put efforts to potty train the child as soon as they are 2 and soon they are fully trained with the techniques they use.”

Buttercups Day Nursery
● Open“Really happy with the nursery and you can tell all the children thrive there. The highlight are the teachers, who are not only inspiring and creative, but also help the children grow up kind, disciplined and caring little people. The Forest School is a hidden gem with lots of outdoor space, which is so hard to find in London.”

Junior VIPs Nursery
● Open“A very good nursery. My 1 year old had been very attached to me since birth which made it difficult to leave her with family or be away from her. Going back to work meant I had to find a nursery. I rang Sachin and he was very helpful. I went to visit the nursery and knew this was the place. All staff are very genuine and caring. It is now her second week there and is settling in well. At first she was crying and not settling but with the effort the staff put in she is finally enjoying it. It is a huge comfort knowing she is in good hands and I can go to work free from worry. I highly recommend this nursery.”

Alphablocks Nursery School & Pre-Prep
● Open“My son was at Alphablocks for 2.5 years and he loved it there. His days were filled with both teacher led and independent fun activities in a safe and nurturing environment. All the team were interested in his development and by the time he left, their investment in him was evident. I was also very happy with the personal care given to him from when he started there in diapers to being toilet trained when he left. One of the first things that attracted me to the Nursery was the extensive outdoor space. The children spend a lot of time outdoors in most weather playing, learning and exploring. It also helped in preparation for Reception that Alphablocks introduces the children to Phonics and Numeracy early. I also liked that the Nursery uses storybook themes in an inventive way as part of the children’s learning. I can’t recommend Alphablocks highly enough.”

Huellas Bilingual Childcare
● Open“Jessica and her team are fantastic. I have nothing but good things to say about Huellas. I had both of my daughters with Jessica and her team for 4 months. My 1 year old full time and my 6 year old in the mornings where Jessica would take her to school. Both girl always enjoyed themselves and had fun. We don’t speak Spanish but it was great to expose them to another language and expand their horizons. Jessica and her team are very caring and loving to the children and I never once felt concerned about leaving them with her. They would regularly go above and beyond to make the experiences fun for the girls. I will be highly recommending Huellas to anyone who requires a childminder and I hope the Huellas team has a fantastic future.”
