Cheeky Chums
● Open“We've had a great experience with Cheeky Chums since our son started last year. He settled very quickly, no doubt because all the staff are engaged and caring (even towards his little brother, who isn't even registered yet!). I'm really pleased with the progress our son has made, but more importantly how much he enjoys coming to nursery. We also get excellent feedback from the staff, both online, in writing and in person on his activities each day, which from experience isn't always the case in the other nurseries. I have no hesitation in sending my second son her in the future and recommending it to others.”

Play & Learn Nursery & Pre-School
● Open“In 2019, I noticed that my son who was 2 years old at the time, was not talking and always had meltdowns. His childminder could no longer cope and the first nursery I moved him to could not meet his needs either. I approached Play & Learn and had a chat with the manager Millie. I mentioned that my son could not yet speak, fussy eater, meltdowns...etc. She was very reassuring and told me that she had experience in working with children with special needs. Millie and all the staff went the extra mile to help my son settle and after a while he began to look forward to going to nursery. Millie worked relentless with both Redbridge and Essex SENCO team to bring in one-to-one support teacher for my son. He was later diagnosed with autism in 2020 and Millie continued to work with my son's speech and language therapist and educational psychologist to help him meet his targets. The help he received at Play & Learn for the 2 years he was there, really helped him to be included in activities, which has improved his confidence for when he starts reception at a special needs school in Sept 2021. I highly recommend the nursery!”

Kiddy Care Nursery
● Open2B Ashgrove Road, Ilford IG3 9XE, United Kingdom“My 2 yr old had a wonderful time in this nursery. Teachers were kind, caring & always ready to help. Nosheen who runs the nursery is amazing, shes always ready to help & talk to parents. Absolutely loved Nosheen’s personality, from the very first time i went to visit the nursery, children were running up to her. She spoke to the children with so much love they seemed to love her so much! I saw teachers sitting down and teaching children in different way, sometimes in groups and sometimes one on one. From sensory to playdough fun they did it all. There are always enough teachers around to watch over children and to help them. The garden was amazing & my daughter loved playing outside. Naps and nappy changes were always done on time. The nursery did their own food, my daughter didn’t eat some food the nursery had on the menu but the nursery was ready to help. Nosheed gave me the meals/snacks menu before her settling in days and I provided some alternatives and told them exactly what she won’t be eating. The nursery replaced the foods always ensuring my daughter stayed away from the food she did not eat. The food was made fresh on site and looked lovely and my daughter said she enjoyed her meals. Whenever i collected my daughter she was always happy playing, only a few odd occasions my daughter cried when dropping off mainly because she was tired or had a bad night but other then that i’ve not seen my daughter cry in nursery. She loved all the teachers and got on with all of them. A big thank you to Kiddy Care for taking care of my baby ❤️ A happy MaMa here xxx”

Abbey Wood Nursery School
● Open“I cannot praise this nursery highly enough! It has been a fantastic place for both of my children that provides very high quality early years education. My kids always love going there. The staff communicate really well with the children helping them to feel safe and secure but also encouraging them to be independent, learning how to take care of practical things like putting on coats and doing craft activities as well as interacting well with peers. When I drop my daughter off in the morning I love to see the imaginative range of activities that have been set up each day. The children start each day in their base room and return there for a story at the end of the session but for the rest of the time it is free flow. Children can go outside whatever the weather. On a rainy day, my daughter loves looking for snails or playing in puddles. The school has the ethos that learning should be adapted to children’s interests so it never feels like work. My son loved being outside so staff would find learning activities he could do outdoors. He still cherishes a little notebook he made at nursery to take outdoors and practice his mark making skills by drawing pictures of the imaginary monsters he was searching for with his friends. Abbey Wood Nursery School has very good facilities and equipment including a large playground, grassy areas, a vegetable garden, a forest school area, a mud kitchen, walls for painting and using chalks on, a climbing frame, a workshop area, home corners, moveable gym equipment, tricycles, water play equipment, craft equipment and book corners. The school hatches out chick eggs and keeps caterpillars to watch the metamorphosis into butterflies each year. Story sessions and some of the activities on offer are linked to the topics each class is following allowing children to build their understanding of the world over an extended period of time. I am certain that the rich learning experiences my children have had at this nursery school and the language skills and understanding they have gained will serve them well for years to come.”
