The Child Development Centre
● Open“My son attended the Child Development Centre after we had exhausted all other avenues through the NHS and essentially got nowhere. I am not disparaging the NHS, I think they are marvellous but they do not have the time or resources to fully help our children the way they need help in these circumstances. We had the Centre recommended to us and it has really changed our lives. The relief that someone was finally making sense of our son's behaviour and difficulties that he was having was immense. He would jump and scream at unexpected noises, he would hate any labels in clothes, he would zoom around the house causing mayhem (not deliberately, quite the opposite he was very happy), but we did fear he had ADHD. He was like Tigger from Winnie the Poo, bouncing around everywhere! His concentration was very poor, he was very silly and immature for his age, he wasn't able to sit and watch a DVD, read a book or play with one toy or game for any period of time, he would get bored very easily and be off to play with another toy or game. From a very young age he would have obsessions - firstly the Fire Service and he would not anywhere unless in a full fireman's uniform with a utility belt, he was 4 yrs old at this stage and then it changed to the Police (5yrs old) and then the Army (8yrs old) with each obsession taking over all of our lives in one way or another. One fact we did find interesting was that Dyspraxia often gets misdiagnosed as ADHD. He was diagnosed as having Dyspraxia traits and audio dyslexia. We received a very detailed report which made so much sense in terms of why he was behaving the way he was, but more importantly we started the programme that would definitely change all of our lives for the better. The programme is not a quick fix solution. You need to be dedicated and understand there will be times when it is frustrating and it seems you are making no progress then other times when it accelerate and the changes are amazing. Most people comment that he is like a different boy now and he really is. Once we were able to get rid of the reflexes he had retained the changes became really noticeable. He is so much calmer now, he can concentrate - he reads so many books now which we are delighted at! The screaming when he's startled has stopped and he's even more tolerant to labels! In the beginning we did the on-line checklist on the website and ticked far too many! However, I would highly recommend doing this as it give you a really good idea on whether there is a problem there that needs solving. My husband and I had the conversation about the cost of the treatment and I remember him saying 'this could be the best money we've ever spent' and he was absolutely right, it was. I would highly recommend going for an initial assessment to find out all about it. We originally met David and then Alex continued all of the appointments and treatments with our son. He is excellent with children, very professional with a firm but easy-going manner. If you decide to do it, follow all of the instructions, they really do know what they are talking about and you will get better results by following them to the letter. The programmes are medication free which I loved, this is a totally natural way to help your child be the best they can be!”

Adam & Eve's Kindergarten
● Open“My daughter is due to start at Adam and Eve's in January and I'm so happy that we discovered this pre-school. The ladies who run it have already gone out of their way to make her feel welcome and at home by holding parent and toddler sessions so that she can explore the school and familiarise herself with those who will care for her. It has also given her the opportunity to meet some of her peers. It seems to be a really well organised, efficient, yet homely pre-school and I am hopeful that it will be the perfect environment to bring out the best in my daughter and to foster her love of learning and play.”

Rangers Kindergarten
● Open“My child has been at Rangers for 7 months and I couldn't have picked a better nursery for him. The environment is so well connected with nature, whether it be the non-toxic materials used indoors or the garden area where children spend majority of their time. The nursery talkes inspiration from the Steiner/Waldorf alternative schooling method which I think is great for children to explore their imaginative and creative side. The teachers are great at what they do, each and every one of the staff members are so nurturing and encouraging, I have never had any reservations in my decision with this nursery and my child's eagerness and enthusiasm to go to Rangers vouches for that. The children and parents are all made to feel like one big family, and I love that about this nursery. It is great that there is this calm lovely space for children amongst the chaos of busy London life.”

Fetcham Village Infant School
● Open“I was impressed from the moment I arrived. A very well run school in my opinion. The office staff were lovely. The headteacher was approachable and interested in everything that was going on. Everybody seemed happy. I worked with sixty very attentive and enthusiastic year 2 children. They were very well mannered and I was particularly amazed at how when I asked a question a see of hands shot up but nobody shouted out. (I mention this because I work in a lot of schools and this is unusual. To me this is indicative of a good learning environment). I was not surprised to hear in the staff room that nobody leaves. I was extremely well looked after throughout the day. Great school!”

Blossom Time Montessori Nursery - OFSTED REGISTERED
● Open“My daughter has been attending Blossom Time since beginning of the year and I cannot express how much this has changed our lives. She is as much in love with the nursery as I am and we couldn't have wished for nicer and kinder people to introduce her into the world of education. Caterina and Judit, as well as the whole team, have been amazing since the moment we met, they've been so friendly and pleasant to talk to and made my daughter's transition into nursery so easy. The nursery is absolutely gorgeous. It's brand new, beautiful and incredibly spacious. There is a countless number of montessori toys and activities, all organised neatly in categories. As a family who finds music very important, I was excited to know there is even a piano that the teachers play for the children. The outdoor area is as well massive and full of entertainment. Everything they do in Blossom Time is full of heart and it's obvious how dedicated they are to create not just a great learning environment for the children but an actual paradise for kids. I couldn't be happier with our choice of nursery and my daughter is ecstatic to go there every time.”
