Cafe Verditer.
“I have been coming here 3 or 4 times a week since it opened in 2017 and the coffee is absolutely perfect. Service is exceptional and they never miss a beat, even at busy times. I have been a regular at this cafe, through a couple of previous incarnations, since the late 90's when it was also exceptional. I'm very pleased that the current team continue to provide such an excellent service - day in day out. Keep up the great work!”
Namaste Gurkha - Hayes Branch
“Last night I checked out places to eat out in Hayes for today and I came across your establishment. I was not sure about it but out of sentiment for Nepal which we visited exactly 5 years ago, and out of curiosity, we gave it a go! What a good decision it was! A clean and atmospheric place it is, with a smiling young woman taking orders, and really tasty food. My rice cooked to perfection, chicken and dahl yummy, all fresh, and the milk tea just as I like it. All four of us were very happy with the experience. And what's important, many Nepali people eat there too!”
Siam Food Gallery
“Lovely food as always. Great new lunch time menu that is a bargain. Worth a visit if in the area, the staff are lovely. Their Wheeping tiger is amazing in the evening menu if you like spicy beef.”
BURG:R
“The menu leaves you spoilt for choice everything sounds devine. I have never had lamb doner in a burger and must say it is just amazingly delicious... I have also been wanting to eat cheesy fries for a very long time but can not find any place that does it the way I would like it to be until I came to Burg:r. The cheesy fries is just so mouthwateringly good! Thank you to the chef as the quailty of the food is just brilliant and delicious. Will definitly go back again and try something new on the menu.”
Galiano Bar/Restaurant
“Excellent food top notch food recommend to any one will come again soon”
Chowka Indian Kitchen
“Beautiful authentic Indian food! Had a gorgeous takeaway the other night with my two sons. All three of our main courses were different and had their own unique taste and flavours. They loved the lamb bhuna and the lamb shank. They are converted to Chowka! Pork Vindaloo was unlike anything you get served up in your typical takeaway. Well spiced and tasting as a proper vindaloo should. And they aubergine are to die for!!!! Never disappoints.”
Bella Vita Italian Restaurant
“A little gem of a place. The bruschetta was enormous and would have fed two people and the diavola pizza was excellent. I like everything about this unpretentious restaurant. Worth a try.”
Holy Spice
“This is our 3rd or 4th time ordering a takeaway and everything is still just as great as the first time! Management provide the best customer experience I've faced in an indian restaurant in some time as they gave us a complimentary meal on our second time due to a severe delay with the first order. This last order on the 29.12.20 we ordered butter naan, mix veg jalfrezi, paneer palak and my partner ordered Tangy Tandoori Chicken wings starter which he loved! The food tastes fresh and authentic and yes a little rich and oily but this is of course what makes it delicious. Not something we'll order every week to watch out waistlines but simply delicious on an occasion! We also love the complimentary bag of small popodoms every time! Best quality Indian restaurant in and around Isleworth for sure! Really hope they can survive the pandemic. Please order!”
Hei Hing
“Fantastic open house atmosphere, food all fresh and no scrimping on ingredients. We really enjoyed it.”
Chilli Lovers
“This place is fantastic. There is a review that says it’s terrible. Please ignore whatever that review says because that is not even about this place. They don’t even have blue plates! The photos aren’t taken at chilli lovers. They do beautiful food, I have never had bad food from here. If you like your Indian food to actually have some spice and kick this is your place. They’ve just receive 5 stars from food hygiene. Staff are friendly and always happy to recommend dishes suitable to every customer. If spice isn’t for you then let them know and they will accommodate you. My partners mum can’t handle spice but we told the staff this and they made sure her meal was fine for her to eat. If you are in the area, or can have this delivered I would thoroughly recommend. It’s now my go to curry house and I recommend to everyone!”
La Familia Restaurant
“Good local Spanish restaurant. Great choice and top service, recommend.”
Greek on the Grill
“The best souvlaki I’ve had - my friend had the sea bass which was amazing. Highly recommend geek on the grill. The team were very friendly and the owners were so accommodating with our screaming baby which is always positive!”
L'assaggino Richmond
“Amazing place in the heart of Richmond, but feels like being in Italy. Great service, everyone was very kind. I highly recommend the dessert "millefoglie".”
Chez Lindsay
“Amazing menu that changes aosta every week. Authentic French cuisine, nothing seems to be prepared in advance, all very fresh 10/10”
DURRAN Pizzas and Burgers
“Five stars for sure. Great place. Just had dinner there: starters/mix kebab/burger/chicken shish -- the food is amazing. So tasty. Lovely staff also. If you are in the area I recommend you drop in for a bite. You won't be disappointed!”
Studio Five Restaurant
“On Friday 24th Feb, a small group of us had dinner at Studio Five. The food and service were excellent - honestly, I couldn't fault it. The place was fairly empty, but that was fine for us. We were served by a lady, Tina - she was outstanding. I would definitely revisit.”
Charcoal Edgware
“Mmmm shashlik! Tender, spicy but not hot spicy......make your mouth water spicy. Charcoal chicken wings. Not the skinny flappy bit but,the shoulder and bicep. A tiny sprinkle of fresh lemon juice drizzled into the munchable, tender chicken. The starter dip things.... FANTASTIC Turkish naan. Light and fluffy with a good outside crunch, dipped into fresh proper humus. A garlicy yoghurt dip thing. Grilled onion quarters in a pomegranate sauce. A fresh and tangy salad with tomatoes, cos lettuce, cucumber, onion. Often Turkish salads that I've had have just been sprinkled with vinegar which, can make them slightly bland. Not so Charcoal's salad dressing. Imagine a charcoaled meat selection served on a bed of rice with a chips border and a sort of thin, round flatbread covering to keep the aroma and heat contained. Lamb shish in very small, succulent cubes on wooden skewers. The charcoal chicken wings, shashlik, thin strips of doner.thick, tender lamb chunks. Add a glass of Turkish red wine (or three). Maybe some Turkish tea with something sweet for those of us who like the slightest perspiration invoked by overeating. Yes, they do takeaway. Yes they have all sorts of fizzy drinks. But, they are not your usual Turkish takeaway. This place is well worth a sit-down for an hour or so and serious, professional eating. Opposite Lidl so maybe, if you do some shopping in Lidl - you could park there. Personally, I think it's worth taking the Northern line and walking from Edgware statation. A couple of outside tables for those that need a quick cigarette or an afternoon cup of coffee and a baklava. I was introduced by a friend who is Turkish and himself a retired restaurateur. In the 20 plus years I have known him - he has always steered me to places that are good quality and not overpriced. This isn't a place with fancy carpets and bow tie waiters. It's like a mum n dad place who care and concentrate on flavour.”
Kashmir Restaurant
“Can safely say this is one of - if not the best - curry I've had for years. Absolutely will return. Utterly charming staff, wonderfully flavoured food, relaxed atmosphere...if there were a winning formula for a restaurant, these guys have absolutely nailed it. Thanks to the team!”
Frigideira
“The food is great always, well texture, flavour and presentation. Brazilian taste and culture served in satisfying portions. The staff is amazing and the Caipirinha is the best I had in a long time! It worth a visit”
Riva
“A little gem I’ve discovered via friends in Barnes. Great for seasonal Italian dishes paired with fine wines.”
Chook Chook Indian Railway Kitchen
“Amazing dinner, from the food to the service! Chilli paneer and samosas were lovely, our mains were incredible and the naan was the best I’ve ever had. Desserts were also delicious so all round, it was a 10/10 meal.”
Café Chai
“Have been two times before an afternoon walk in Banstead woods. Tried various omelettes and a bacon and egg sandwich, all were lovely. The omelette with sides is a big portion which I share with my 4 year old. It's my aim to return and try the delicious looking scones. There's only one toilet which can result in small waits but it was relatively clean. Environment busy but comfortable and pleasant on the eye.”
Kebaby
“Outstanding Kebab. Delish. Excellent service and Attention to detail. Grateful for going the extra mile - tall bloke who served me.”
Cleopatra Restaurant Earl’s Court
“Nice place with really tasty food and oriental flavors! The portions could have been slightly bigger, but we enjoyed every bite! Service was quick and kind! A big plus for the Ayran, which is blended with mint and has a nice flavor!”
Eli’s Restaurant - South Kensington
“Gorgeous small local restaurant, delicious hearty food and friendly and professional staff (I think they were a family). Thank you for accommodating us (family of 3 including a 2 yo) on a Saturday night and despite not having booked a table in advance! We thoroughly enjoyed our experience with you. My top fave dish was the chicken liver with freshly baked pita bread. Wine choices were also fab.”
Magan Restaurant
“Amazing authentic Somali food. No printed menu - choice of big meat, small meat, chicken, vegetarian, with rice, chapati or pasta. We had small meat with rice and small meat with chapati. Both came with side salad and were delicious. Entire meal was less than £10 a head including drinks.”
Viet Town
“The best Vietnamese food in the Wandsworth. Lots of options. All noodle dishes are huge in portions and very delicious. Very quick service almost every time. Drinks are delicious as well. Prices are very good. I have been eating there countless times and I highly recommend it.”
Ginger Restaurant
“Lovely restaurant. Giant portions. Could do with less salt but tasty meal. I had the daily special (2 courses for less than £10) - pork goulash with potato pancake and beetroot.”
The OLEA
“My Nan and I always go to this restaurant. Food is amazing, and really reasonably priced. Staff are always so welcoming and kind, particularly Beri who usually serves us. She is a great server, always makes us laughs and makes sure everything is okay. Highly recommend this restaurant.”
Ginger Frog
“Lovely place with nice food. Very local to me as well. Tables are slightly small but still a lovely place”
