“This Korean and Japanese restaurant is hidden at the back of the Seoul Plaza 2 shop by New Malden Fountain Roundabout, behind a sliding door. They serve Korean and Japanese food, though we weren't able to have sushi because the sushi chef wasn't there yet (so I assume a different chef for Korean food and different for Japanese food). Delicious well-seasoned food, good portions and very nice peaceful place. We called their mobile number to reserve a table for Sunday lunchtime but when we arrived it was very quiet with only one other table eating there. They do takeaways but don't have any printed takeaway menus, it's just whatever you like from the "full" eat-in menu. Will definitely be back!”

“I am usually not a fan of Soondae but this restaurant makes great ones! We came across this restaurant after some searching and boy are we glad we visited. The front of the place is a shop for prepare food for takeaways and there’s dining in the back. We ordered their Soondae, Soondae Guk (Soup), Galbi (Beef short rib) Tang, Fried Chicken Wing in Yangyeom sauce and original Fried Chicken Wings. Soondae was served over a bed of onions on a hot plate was amazing, not gamey. Soondae Guk was hearty (haha literally, because it had pieces of heart, lung and liver in it) really liked the liver. The fried chicken wings were crispy and juicy. Galbi Tang came with large chucks of short ribs. We left with happy bellies. Happy we’ve found this spot!”

“Great salads, sandwiches, gelato, sorbet and coffee. Nice delicatessen selection of Italian meats pasta, biscuits and cheeses. Quietly situated off New Malden High Street. A great place to sit relax and have a natter, either inside or out.”

“I love shopping here. A huge variety of produce from around the world. I always find something new. All the fruit and veg are very good quality and the staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. I often ask how to use a new vegetable and they have great advice.”

“It's a nice small Korean restaurant. Not the best at dealing with vegetarians. Has a good local energy with very good lunch time deals! Unbelievable communication system installed to streamline guest to server experience. Lovely decor, with passionate staff!”

“Great quality, tasty and filling Turkish food! Went out with 3 people and it most certainly was an excellent sitting area in the back. Clean and comfortable place to have lunch or dinner and meetings on the go with food (why not?). Waiter was polite and friendly and also gave good recommendations when asked.”

“Great local pub! Bar staff are great, food and drink selection is amazing and so reasonably priced for the area!! The beer garden is great in the summer too- loads of space, outdoor TV and always got a great playlist going.”

“Friendly, lively modern Chinese takeaway. Open plan kitchen shows their confinence to all customers about their quality of food and Hygine of kitchen. About the menu, all are high standard takeaway we can expect from chinese resturant yet reasonably priced. however, Young friendly boss here only offer proper fried Hofun in this area as far as I am aware.. I ‘ve been eating seafood hofun here for many years and still wating to order for myself later today.”
