Charming decor in Sunbury-on-thames

“This Indian Restaurant is truly a hidden gem in the heart of Sunbury on Thames. We truly enjoyed our meal there this afternoon with family visiting from Brisbane, Australia. The waiters were professional as always. The food is simply the best. Always fresh, delicious and truly authentic. Every mouthful was simply divine. We will be back again for sure. Highly recommended their vegetarian thali. The plus point is, parking is ample and its located a short walk from the scenic river view.”

“We have now worked with Sharon over the last 4 years on 6 items of furniture, all but one of which are much treasured family pieces. Which are now beautifully restored and enjoyed by us daily, apart from the blue rocking horse which is at Grandma's! As we are in Southampton each time we have had video calls, used photos and measurements to work out what needed to be done and to choose some fantastic fabric! Sharon is very thoughtful, listens to ideas and helps formulate a vision of the finished piece. We have found the process fun and enjoyed researching material and accessories as well as sourcing some ourselves. Thank you Sharon, now to get the next lot of chairs to you....Xx”

“Staff always so friendly and welcoming. Reasonably priced and good food. It's a small family run pub so you really feel cosy and looked after. Tracey is amazing and Tony the Landlord is just so affable and really ensures your wellbeing and comfort. Beer garden is lovely in summer and being closed off, it is great for kids! Will be visiting this little gem a lot!”

“We were staying in a hotel nearby and went for a walk to see what was around for food and came across this absolute little gem!! The food is very reason priced, you could be dubious about the price but don't be as the food is wonderful quality and great portion sizes. I had the 8 nuggets and chips with salad and the nuggets were super crispy. A friend had a mixed kebab and it was huge and he said it was really nice. Cost around £35 for 4 of us with drinks. Came again for breakfast and it was just as good fast service, great choice of food and a great price. Over all, people are friendly and efficient”

“We had a really lovely meal here for my son's 16th birthday. We opted from the buffet menu and every dish was delicious. Service was friendly, and atmosphere good and tasteful decor. Others have mentioned the place being cold inside; I thought it was cool, but not cold, but worth bearing in mind if you're the type to feel the cold more and take a cardi! Prices were reasonabl - about as I would realistically expect for dining out in 2023. A most enjoyable evening.”
