Charm in Watford

“We are a family of 4 (2 adults & 2 children) that stayed for about 6 months Modernview Serviced Accommodation 2 bed Executive apartment - Cassio. The apartments are fully furnished, well equipped and had everything we needed like washer dryer, toaster, kettle and oven. The Apartment was Super Clean, Serviced regularly by a professional housekeeper. The apartment was extremely cozy and comfortable for me and my family, we felt very much at home. Lots of things to do in and around Watford, We visited Harry Porter Leavesden Studios about 10 minutes drive away, also Central London was only 20 minutes by overland train. The apartment is close to amenities, the high street just a few minutes walk away, lots of restaurants and nice local shops. Staff were very supportive and went an extra mile to ensure we were well settled and comfortable! Would definitely recommend staying!”

“Bit of a dark horse, this one - most of my friends walked past this place at first! Cosy, cute place with attentive service and nice ambiance. We had a variety of tapas - my main complaint (echoed by my mates) was that the burrata and cheese balls were undersalted. Nice place for a quieter night out.”

My son came with us this time and he now understands the magic that is Max in the Wacky Barber shop in Watford. We are so happy to be a part of this community and the talent it contains! “Mr Marvel (Lee) is quite simply the best children's entertainer on the planet! He just 'gets' children and is an absolute professional at what he does. His shows are high energy, hysterically funny (both for adults and children!) and perfectly suited to the age group in question. He will always go the extra mile, eg sitting with the children whilst they are eating and remembering all their names. He is polite, kind and courteous. He absolutely mesmerised the room at both parties I have booked him for and the children had an amazing time! The best. Would never go anywhere else!”

“Went to get my first tattoo here and the artist Emilia was absolutely amazing. She read my mind and designed the tattoo exactly how I wanted it. Everyone was really friendly, welcoming & made me feel comfortable the entire time. To add to the brilliant service, aftercare instructions are provided by the artist and website to get the best out of your tattoo experience.”

“A really nice combination of a Café and Restaurant. The food is excellent. I had the Penne with Spicy meatballs and it was very tasty and well presented. I understand this place is under threat of closure . I think people should work hard to protect this kind of establishment, so much better in quality and taste than the chain fast food places.”

“Well kept gardens with a wide collection of plants and secret paths. Great space to get lost in. Dogs are allowed and an a WC is provide. The birds and fish are amazing.”

“I am a café addict, always on the lookout for a lovely café. In my humble opinion, the Perk Coffee Shop is a hidden gem that I have been lucky to find. The decor and atmosphere is beautiful. I haven't eaten here yet but have had coffee which was delicious. It has a great layout and is fairly spacious whilst still maintaining a cosy, boutique atmosphere. A charming independent business that deserves to flourish.”
