“Visited for the first time on a Wednesday evening as a group of 4 friends, with the purpose of seeing Rob Lamberti (who is the best George Michael/Wham tribute act out there-that’s a whole other review!) This venue is like a tardis, with a long/ split ground floor level, large function room and a contemporary outside seated area too, with and 3 bars in total. Spotlessly clean, with an very aesthetically pleasing decor. The whole venue must be newly refurbished as nothing looks tired or worn and there are very stylish black and white pictures of famous faces covering all of the walls. The bar staff are super friendly and very welcoming and the owner Christine is just a delight! We left after a very pleasant 4 hours feeling like we had made a new friend. The house Prosecco was delicious and the pizza’s served in the function room were perfectly cooked, reasonable in price and arrived promptly. Wholeheartedly recommend this venue, if we lived more locally I know we would be regulars. Parking was easy for us as we found a space in the station a 30 second walk away, but otherwise it is street parking. There are large TV’s there showing all of the must see sporting action too. The venue was absolutely buzzing and a very good evening was had by all! Wednesday is definitely our new Friday after a visit to the Seasons bar this week!”

“We have always enjoyed a Sunday dinner at Miller and Carter! The staff is really friendly, service is quick! Food is amazingly delicious! I am really impressed by the duck they offer - it’s a must try! The atmosphere is cosy. We tried their cocktails - they were also okay. Parking is available - all you have to do is register your car when entering the restaurant. If you are a fan of steak - then this is the right place for you!”

“Popped in, with no previous experience of the pub and not having been in Woodford for 20 years or so. Surprise, the pub was welcoming, light banter as much on tap as a range of beers and lagers. Well worthy a visit.”

“I used Barry's for the first time yesterday, I have not had a professional colour for years, Caelie did my colour it is beautiful the best it has ever been, she is a lovely girl and took so much care. Ella cut my hair also the first cut for a long while, I had it cut fairly short so it was a strange thing for me, but this morning it looks sensational, thank you both, I will definitely come back. “Ordered a take out meal last night from Jaipur Chigwell. Excellent meal exactly as we ordered and arrived hot, although we had to wait nearly an hour, this wasn't a problem to us and was explained before we ordered. We have visited the restaurant many times but don't order take out very often. We weren't disappointed and will definitely order take out again, hopefully soon, maybe visit the restaurant!”

“My Favourite Restaurant in Woodford. I visit every month. It is run with German efficiency. Even when it is full the service is consistently good. The food and wine I can’t fault and the staff look after you. I can’t fault The Broadway Thank you and look forward to returning.”

“We have been coming since the first day it opened. The food is fantastic. The service is friendly and you always get a warm welcome. They will try to accommodate you if you haven't booked even at busy times. It is advisable to book as it gets busy. If you want a variety of dishes I would recommend the Shish Platter. You can always take home what you don't eat. We will be returning very soon.”

“Top notch lunch today. Took my parents out for lunch as it is my mother's birthday. Chose the restaurant as they serve a Liver dish. My parents loved it. We also had Carbonara and mixed seafood Linguine plus a mahoosive plate of calamari, which my son devoured. Will have to make it a regular when choosing to eat out me thinks. Highly recommended.”

“Great, decor is unmucked about with old school charm, lovely, a proper pub. Country is a decent pint (after I accidentally posted a review here for another Cricketers pub, also nice, I have amended my review) I told you that Country was a decent pint!!”

“We used to live nearby for a few years and never went there, although had heard good things about it. Then one evening off the cuff, we gave it a try and have been regulars ever since. There are very few Indian restaurants that are pretty full all week, so I always make a point of booking. We are always well looked after with a very reasonable bill and excellent food. They've been there over 30 years, so they must have got it right and I believe the decor is the original, so it's like going back to the past although no flock wallpaper, but magnificent portions. Usually crowded with nice customers. Highly recommended. Just booked for tomorrow now.”

“This was my first visit with my son, daughter-in-law and granddaughter. They have just moved into the area and I was visiting. The lunch, I had the large fish & chips which in fact was very large and was very nice indeed. I was driving so had a soft drink. The service was very pleasant and efficient. It was not over busy on our visit but was very enjoyable. I understand this is going to be my sons local which I think he will be happy with. I look forward to visiting again.
