Casual in Sidcup

“I was recommended this place by a friend and drove from Essex and must say no regrets! Must try the samosa’s and the spicy crispy chicken! Loved it! Very clean and friendly service and defo a place I would recommend to all wanting a good Indian restaurant with a twist!”

“I am still wondering how is possible that komakai can deliver such an outstanding quality being a take away sushi business. Yes, you read correctly. We all know that sushi is not cheap. We also know that it is pretty hard to find a trustable sushi bar/restaurant. In London or where ever... I know about fish quality because my parents are fishmongers in Barcelona (enough said). And when you think your found one pretty acceptable then the bill arrives to the table and the price do not match with the quality delivered. That has been my main surprise with komakai. If you had this sushi served in a restaurant, the bill will be over £200 for 2 people’s dinner. Yes, £200! Please don’t take my advice for granted. Give it a go and you will be as pleasantly surprised as me. If you are lucky enough to live in south east London (or making a big enough order and further delivery can be considered) try Komakai. “Amazing seamstress, Sophia altered my wedding dress to make it smaller then after a postponed wedding I went up a dress size and again she did such a wonderful job of altering the dress so it looked 100% amazing my my special day. I was always made to feel so welcome and special. Thank you x”

“Had an amazing family meal at Cacio e Pepe early Saturday evening on 31/07/21. Staff are extremely friendly and attentive. The food could not be faulted. In fact, the only fault I could possibly find would be that the starter portions are FAR too generous. We will certainly be sharing starters on our next visit. Very varied menu and everything we had was cooked spot on. Cannot comment on the deserts as we were far too full to even look at the desert menu. All in all a fantastic and authentic Italian restaurant to have on your doorstep.”

“I love Icicle Boutique! The service is always excellent; fast delivery and the items well packed. When I have to return anything, refunds are applied quickly and without fuss. The clothes are lovely, and it is so nice to order on line and be pretty sure everything will fit. The one size concept is great. I don’t normally give 5 star reviews as there is always room for improvement, but I can’t think of anything here. Unless….. you could open a shop up here in Yorkshire? Thanks for a great service.”

“Very lovely place, I haven't been there in a few years and it's all changed. (For the better), they now have a lovely outside space and a heated seating area. Good choice of beer, cider, gin. Good atmosphere, they also serve coffee during the day. Dogs are welcome which is brilliant, and the family that run it are lovely. Rachel is a proper laugh. All in all its a great place and I will be going back.”

“Great tasty food with a warming ambience. African food isnt always cooked well but I applaud the kitchen staff because I truely enjoyed the food. The only down side was that there were no cocktails of my choice but apart from that everyhing else was great. The DJ had me moving and the staff were very much welcoming. I would definitley be going back!”

“Great classic Chinese takeaway-a little family run gem in Sidcup. We’ve been coming here for years and the food quality is consistently good and amazing value. Excellent Chinese style curry and Singaporean Rice vermicelli our favourites. Pancake rolls are hand-made which means we’ll happily wait for delivery but if busy go and collect!”

“Great family pub which I have now been going to for the past four years. Since the pub had new owners the food has improved 100%. The staff are warm and welcoming and don't rush you,and if they have time will spend more time chatting to you. Part of the pub goes back to the 17th century with log or coal fire place.Lovely and cosy in winter or Christmas time.plus there are no games or music machines. Great for going with friends and family for a quite get togethers.They now have a wonderful outside sitting and eating area, which was beautiful during last summer heatwave.”
