“Piano Week in December 2020 was a wonderful experience. I am a piano/music novice with just over a year experience and as an adult learner, I wanted an experience with first rate teachers in a comfortable environment to gauge where I was and how to move forward. Piano Week exceeded every expectation. I was able to work on a variety of pieces and accomplished several "firsts" - performing in front of others (virtually), composing, improvisation, while also getting wonderful coaching on how to polish a piece, how to start a piece, technical exercises, organizing practice time, etc. I walked away inspired by the quality of the teachers and grateful they were able to connect with a novice player, pick me up where I was and give me some tools to move forward! Wonderful chance to get focused exposure to world class musicians and teachers. I took the class remotely from the comfort of home but the logistics and attention to detail were very professional! Wonderful professional staff, great participants - highly recommended!”

The team at Ice led by Neil Day have approached it with long term safety in mind but also ensured that I learned at my pace. The ten hours of instrument flying that I did with Phil really sharpens up your general handling and now I am half way through the night portion with Jack who is fantastic to learn with. “If there were more stars here, I would tick them all! Neal is extremely knowledgeable and experienced in his work and probably one of THE best in his profession. He cleaned/sparkled the back patio and front driveway and all around the house, using pressure washing/steam method. After the clean it looked like the patios were newly done. Simply AMAZING. I am so delighted with the work. He did a manual clean of our roof with biocide treatment. I chose the manual method but he has various techniques to clean the roof. He also did the gutter cleaning, fascia and soft fit external clean and window cleaning. He will be cleaning our windows regularly from now on. There is no doubt that I will always be contacting Neal for these services in the future. Thank you very much Neal! :)”

“I have been attending bodens for about five years now and in those five years I have learnt so many new skills. I currently attend their Saturday morning combined musical theatre classes from 10am-1pm and their tap dance classes on Mondays from 5pm-5:45pm. I also take part in Trinity musical theatre exams which I am very lucky and grateful to do. Bodens has given me many opportunities and taught me many things that I will use in everyday life and in the future. Being a student at bodens has helped my confidence grow massively. They never fail to produce incredible shows where every student is involved and having fun. All members of staff are lovely and are always nice . They encourage us to take risks in theatre and help us understand what life is like in the theatre industry. Not only are the staff kind, but the students are too; they are all very welcoming to new people and are always open to making new friends. I have really enjoyed every moment during my time at bodens so far, and I think other young people should get to experience this too.”

“I cannot speak highly enough of San-Marie. My daughter has attended since she was 2.5 years old and is now 13. She absolutely loves it here. The school offers many opportunities, including ISTD exams, performance shows and competitions. Some of the students have also been lucky enough to travel with San-Marie to perform on a Cruise Ship. During lockdown San-Marie kept the students busy with challenges and kept them dancing throughout, which I cannot thank them enough for. The teachers are brilliant and so professional and have high expectations of their students.”

“People say that you never have to work a day in your life if you love what you do. That is the same for studying. It becomes fascinating and thought-provoking when you are interested in the subject. You can form study groups that end up being a lot of fun. I explored and found an academic area that get me excite. I did it! I achieved it! It was one of my best time in my life! A really good college, which has helped me a lot in achiving and learning new skills. The teachers are very nice and always keen to help and they push you and guide you towards your dreams. “Although it isn't cheap, ArtsEd musical theatre courses have been totally worth it. My 13 year old son happily goes every week and spends 3 hours (3 50 minute sessions with breaks) at Arts Ed on a Saturday morning with a dance, an acting, and a singing session. This term they performed Matilda and when I saw him perform I didn't recognise him. Everything had improved - acting, singing dancing, all of it. What's more, he really let himself go in a way he hadn't before and this can only be because of the encouragement and confidence given by his teachers.”
