Camden Prime Apart Hotel
● Open“Hotel location is good for walking lovers or taxi callers :) I do like to walk, so 10minutes by feet to tube is working well for me. Building itself is modern, with lift, reception, parking and sitting area outside and inside. Lift makes it accesible for special needs and strollers. Hotel has no air conditioning, so expect to enjoy heet at hot summer days. Flat was big enough with shower, kitchen and the room with bed, sofa and tv area. Hotel have good wifi. Reception is 5☆, no problem at comunication. Room service pick up garbage everyday, so no smells or any discomfort. Hairdryer and iron is awaliable. Had no experience with any noises or unpropriate visitors, any security problems ect. Bed is very good for good rest. I do like to cook my self, kitchen was missing forks, oil, paper towels, salt.. ect. base things for cooking, so I had to buy everything myself. This would be -☆, All electronics works well, enough space for everything. Small shop around the corner, so no problem to buy drinks or food. Some bigger shops are 2 blocks away. Nearest bar is 2min by feet :) Camden market is 30min by feet, a spot You should visit.”

Citadines Apart'hotel Islington London
● Open“One of my rare 5-star reviews :-P. Check-in: Uncomplicated, and pleasant, with Peter explaining facilities available. Room: Wow. Large, spacious (by London standards), clean, and clean modern decor. Small functional kitchenette with microwave, fridge and dishwasher. Nespresso machine, tea, cookies, UHT milk. Bathroom equally spacious, with adjustable height shower (no rainfall shower, if that matters to you). Small settee at the end of the bedto stretch out and relax. Comfortable bed, with reading lights. Small table with chairs, for a quick bite to eat. Room relatively quiet, very little noise intrusion from outside, occasional noise from corridor, but all in all, pretty quiet. Facilities: Breakfast (7-11 weekdays) served at lobby lounge. Continental and simple; best to inspect prior to purchase to decide value for money. Lounge was clean and open to guests, with 24/7 coffee/tea available. Staff: Friendly throughout. Room wasn't serviced for 2 night stay, but that was OK with me. Location: A little bit of a walk from Underground or Overground station (15 mins brisk walk), but buses available. Lots to eat in the vicinity, looks like quite a thriving and mid-scale neighborhood. 10 mins brisk walk to the British Design Centre. (Minor) Grouses: No shower gel provided (but shampoo, tiny bar of soap and body lotion). More eco approach would be to provide dispensers for the above, rather than single use plastics. Detergent and sponge provided for kitchenette, but no dishcloth or disposable wipe (paper towels provided, though!) Summary: Modern, spacious, comfortable. Would stay again, in a shot!”

PittaBun Camden
● Closed“I experienced warm service as soon as I came in to see this new, bright place with an earthy marble and modern wood aesthetic. Plenty of choice on the menu and detailed recommendations by a woman behind the bar was great. The lamb bun I decided to eat was very tasty and succulent, full of flavours, which I combined with a side of the spiced chips. Definitely tastier, cleaner and more filling than a typical gyros. I felt full enough but then wanted to try the apple crumble because the food was great quality so far. I was not let down at all - it was incredible. Just the perfect amount of sweetness and the ice cream was the best touch. Definitely a nice, fast food surprise and I will be coming back very soon.”

hub by Premier Inn London King's Cross hotel
● Open“I have stayed at this hotel a couple of times. I have always had a pleasant experience, but my most recent experience has been so fantastic I really wanted to share how lovely it has been. Upon arrival I got chatting to a staff member (Rita) about our stay and mentioned it was my friend's (the other guest) birthday. She pulled me aside and asked for my room number and told me she would do something special. When we came back from an evening at the theatre we found that Rita had placed confetti, birthday banners, chocolates, prosecco and balloons in our room. When we went down to thank her she took the time to chat to us and made sure we had everything we needed. When we mentioned we were staying a few nights she asked if we had booked breakfast for the morning. When we said we hadn't she sorted it so we had a complimentary breakfast for the next day. She made us feel so welcome and homely, it really made me emotional. With all that is going on in the world at the moment, it restored my faith in humanity to have someone do such a selfless act just out of the kindness of their heart. I will never stay at another hotel in London again. This hotel is superior by far. Thank you so much Rita and the team for making our stay so enjoyable.”

Three Uncles Camden
● Closed“The duck and pork belly here are out of this world! Duck crispy skin and still juicy and flavourful meat, the pork belly was fatty and the skin crisped up like crackling. The rice was flavourful with nice sauce. My partner got the wonton and char sui noodles and was also great with nice dumplings and the noodles full of flavour. My favourite place to eat in Camden.”

The Pillar Hotel London
● Open“Wonderful experience here. The staff was professional and accommodating. The location is convenient. Restaurants and shuls all on the same block. Busses stop in front of the hotel for quick transportation to anywhere. If you stay for Shabbat and purchase their hospitality package, this is what your table looks like. They also provide a hotplate which is super hot (so watch out you don't burn your food). Would stay here again and again. Air conditioning was frigid and welcome after a hot day in the tube.”

Co-op Food - Camden - Camley Street
● Closed“Great little shop overlooking the Canal. It’s very small yet has a good variety of products available. The fella by the name of ‘Krishna’ seriously deserves a promotion! No matter how early in the morning it is, nor how busy the store may get, Krishna consistently serves every customer with a smile, providing excellent customer service.”

Generator London
● Open“What a fantastic place to stay as a tourist! First, the hotel itself is superb. Friendly staff, awesome atmosphere, bar, amenities, etc. The dorm room format is a bit risky during the pandemic or in immediate post-pandemic times but I survived ahahaha One occupant was clearly sick though and kept coughing and stayed in for an entire day but I was fine Then the location of the hotel - it is perfectly located so close to everything! Few minutes from a metro station, close to many parks, some minutes from the British Museum... Quite affordable, I greatly enjoyed my experience and would definitely rent a bed again”

YoKOYA - authentic omakase Sushi Kaiseki 寿司懐石
● Closed“A very unique experience of enjoying Japanesse cuisine. The chef used to do izakaya and just recently changed his concept to kaiseki. As like a normal kaiseki once you had your dessert you can enjoy their authentic Japanesse tea ceremony. All of the food are good. Good selection of sake, you can choose a set of sake to compliment the dishes. Bear in mind it takes time, last time it took 4 hours from start to finish, and you can stay more to enjoy more sake if you want to....”

The Living Room Club Cafe
● Closed“Nicely decorated space. I came here for a Portuguese language class as they hold a variety of workshops and events in the evenings. As I arrived after hours, I can’t comment on the coffee or food, but as far as being a venue for workshops, I really appreciated it. It’s definitely more suitable for smaller groups (there were about 10 of us I believe), but it was a decent space with a chill out vibe and nice decor. Hope to be back to try the coffee.”
