“It's a cafe and very much as expected for cafe food! I'm rating a 5 because service is great and it's clean and welcoming. The portion size for approx £9/£10 is large and I took away half my meal for later in the day. The food is tasty. They provide a fresh salad. “This is Kingsley Hall Cafe, ( Cafe shut now due to Covid, - what else! ), Church at 11am Sundays and Foodbank nearby to/at Martins Corner in Dagenham in Essex, viz Redbridge, Barking and Dagenham local councils. It ( the foodbank ) has a points system to help you select food from the foodbank and is open 9am until 4pm Monday to Friday. Food is available at much lower prices than in the shops locally. Ideal if you have mobility, homeless or financial problems. JCN.”

“Held my daughter's naming ceremony here and the service we received right from the first contact was brilliant. The staff were extremely helpful and efficient and always on hand when needed whilst giving us the space we needed to make the room our own . The food was really tasty with a great selection of sandwiches and savoury items. The cake was really yummy and there was plenty of it. There was plenty of tea and coffee too for all of our guests The room was clean bright and spacious and decorated beautifully with access to the outside patio and play area and we were able to bring our dog who enjoyed it as much as we did. I would really recommend hiring the room for your function as the staff made the whole process as pleasurable and stress free as possible leaving us time to enjoy our daughters special day. “That is my first time trying their Cod and Chips, and I have to admit that it was an absolute hit. Food was very tasty and fresh and the portions were really generous. The restaurant was very neat and tidy and well organised. If you are in the area than their fish and chips is a must to try and I can throughly recommend that. Well done.”

“Very interesting place and welcoming staff. Closes early during the week but on Fridays and weekends becomes very active with music with a dance floor. The smoking area also has heaters with is a plus. By far the staff are the best aspect, often found mingling with people on their breaks and just being quite friendly and welcoming. One time I ran out of cigerattes and a staff member on their break in the smoking area offered me one.”
