“Fantastic Mediterranean food on the go. Down for a drive from London and stopped off to grab some lunch. Very reasonably priced and delicious wraps. We tried one of each. Quality ingredients and good service. I'll definitely return next time I'm in town.”

“Our initial plan was just to have a cup of coffee before the hike. Then I wanted to have a quick breakfast. Surprisingly the service was very prompt even inside was packed. But I was impressed more by the stylish service and the taste. It's not my local but now and then I want to visit here for their excellent coffee + food + dog friendly”

“We held my uncles Wake at the Harrow Inn yesterday. Alison and Dave were very helpful in making the arrangements over the phone, as we are not from the area. The buffet was plentiful and offered a great selection of tasty food. They were able to cater for our vegan and gluten free family members with a nice selection also. We had use of a private room and indeed the whole bar including the garden, should we have needed it. Friendly hosts and good food, we were pleased we chose this venue and would recommend it!”

“An ideal meeting place for a catch up with a friend. We had a table for two in front of a long fire. Very welcome on a freezing day. The food was very good and not expensive given the quality. But the beer was the highlight. Harvey's Bitter from barrels on the counter behind the bar. Properly kept and served. Wish it was my local.”

“An awesome spot for lunch after a long walk in Knole Park. Smiley faces and big welcomes as soon as you step through the door and the quality continues right through each course until you decide to leave after a couple of pints and warning up by the fire. Food was on point ans service was great, couldn’t fault it on bit.”

“This is definitely one of the nicest place I have been to. I have only been there for a meal twice, and can honestly say that I gave never been disappointed with the meals I had. The first time I went there I gad the roast lamb with vegetables, unfortunately when I got there yesterday the only option available was the roast beef, as the Lamb abd Chicken had all gone & boy oh boy! was I glad. The beef was cooked to absolute perfection by Ben (The Owner) I would suggest phoning at 12.00pm (when they open) or a day or two in advance if possible, to book a table , and get there early.. Ben and his staff are extremely pleasant, & can't do enough to make sure you enjoy your experience of eating at his Pub/Restaurant. I would definitely go again. “Was the first time here and no way we were disappointed . From the moment we came through the door to a very warm welcome, until we left the service, was great, the food amazing. Everything was cooked to perfection and presented very well. We will definitely be going back. We booked before hand and that turned out to be a very good idea..”

“Fantastic staff. Can’t rate the service highly enough. We had an incident (daughter choked) and they were so kind and supportive to make sure we were all okay. They went above and beyond with our breakfast requests (I have some picky eaters!) and the food was delicious. Will definitely be back. So nice to have breakfast for lunch too.”

“Nice cafe with large inside seating area and a few outside tables close to the main road. Large bifold windows in one section with seating next to them is a nice touch. Reasonable prices... coffee, cake and cooked food available. Limited parking outside, but close to town centre parking and on street parking close by.”

“Have not been to the rose and crown in over 2 years because of covid. We visited sunday. Was so nice to see Karen and john. Such a friendly village atmosphere. Lovely warm log fire. Me and my husband had roast lamb. The lamb melted in your mouth one of the best roast dinners we have had in a long time. We was very lucky to be fitted in as it was very busy so I would advise to book. Looking forward to our next visit.”

“Just back from a fantastic meal for husbands birthday. Food was amazing one of the best meals we have had out in a long time. The restaurant is very relaxed and welcoming. “By sevenoaks standards, this is a great pub. It's a proper pub with a good atmos and is a lot of fun. Admittedly, by London standards, its not 5 stars, but its defo one of, if not the best pub in sevenoaks.”

“Staff were nice and pleasant. The pub had quite a relaxed atmosphere almost like a coffee shop rather than a pub. Lots of tables outside although I think these are shared with the businesses adjoining the pub. The Guinness was excellent as was the Late Red (Shepherd Neame)”
