“Decided to try something a bit different. The California looked interesting and I like strong tastes so wasn't put off by the gorgonzola cheese on it. This pizza was truly delicious. I expected the blue cheese flavour to be overwhelming but it wasn't at all and simply complemented the overall taste. If you prefer a 'lighter' pizza (and yes I like meaty ones as much a anybody else) then this is the one for you. Fantastic and perfect for a hot day when a 'heavy' pizza might be a bit too much.”

The kids menu was very good, plenty of options to cater for simpler and more adventurous tastes. The triple cooked chips, these days almost a pub cliché, are worthy of a special mention! Dr Dinesh has been amazing, has done my check ups for nearly a year now and recently performed a deep filling procedure. Always makes sure you’re comfortable and fully informed. “We had used the Lodge for our family and friends to stay at for our wedding, and we were extremely happy all round. The rooms were up to a high standard, breakfast was great and more importantly the staff were incredibly helpful. In the run up to the event, they helped with our organisation, and while we were staying there, all the stuff were kind, helpful and very flexible, something particularly demanding when dealing with such a large group. “The hotel was great, it looked stunning, the staff were super friendly. The place had amazing lights, the shower had button that let you see through to the hotel room which was funny. We loved the pool and Sauna. They have parking which you have to pay for and the breakfast selection was incredibly tasty and a great selection. Anna was really kind to my daughters. Thank you for letting us stay, it was really fun & we had an amazing time there.”
