“Have dined a number of times and never been disappointed. As it was bonfire night a friend and I decided to get a takeaway. The food was beautiful, hot, with all the right spices, making it the same as if dined in. What was exceptional was that 2/3 minutes after opening the takeaway bag I realised that one item was incorrect but as we liked this starter anyway we decided not to bother to do anything. However the phone went and panorama rang, full of apologies and sent a driver out with the item we had ordered. I said it didn’t matter but they insisted. I thought this was great customer service. Amazing food, never disappointed completed with great customer service by lovely people”

“So delicious, will definitely come back! Even though I was there for lunch, there were many options to choose from, such as three different curries and three types of noodles. The food was hot and fresh, and the staff members would go around stirring the dishes to ensure they were being kept warm. Also, the chicken dishes were all so juicy and tender, I can’t wait to eat here again :)”

“Great little place. Have been quite a few times and always great. Breakfast is delicious - not quite 100% on the eggs but that is personal preference. We went with our son recently and they were very accommodating with a high chair. I would recommend caution taking a pram because the place is small and if it is busy - as it often is - it can be awkward managing that BUT it is busy because of how nice it is.”

“A wonderful little hotel very close to the centre of Richmond. I stayed 3 nights for work and will definitely choose to stay there again next time I'm down. The staff were very welcoming and the room while small was perfectly formed with everything you need. Very happy to have stayed there.”

“Great and authentic Korean food. Super fast service in seating and in food preparation. I confirmed with the staff that all the chicken and beef dishes on the menu are HALAL. We went at about 6:30pm and only had to wait about 5 minutes for a table despite it being very busy. The food is ordered via your own mobile phone by scanning the QR code located on the table – but if you have any questions about the food the staff are very friendly in helping out as they did with us. The food arrived pretty quick after ordering even in a packed house. Great tasting food. Very friendly staff. They were kind, efficient and hard working. One of the staff members kindly explained what each of the kimchi we ordered were and let us know the best way to enjoy it with our meal - even in a busy restaurant she took the time out to have a conversation with us so we could have a better experience. Bento Bap is located very close to Aldgate East Station however if you want to save some money on train travel, I recommend getting off at Whitechapel Station and walking down as it would be cheaper since Whitechapel is in Zone 2. “Great tasting and authentic Indian food. The naans are baked at the restaurant (not out of a packet). The variety is good and taste is authentic. I ordered a Panner dish with garlic naan and it was awesome! Ended the meal with an kulfi, which was fantastic as well.”

“We usually are not fans of dining at restaurants closse to transportation centers, but we were fortunate to find the Indian Lounge while in London! The menu is extensive, the food expertly prepared (moist chicken especially!) wonderful flavors and excellent-friendly service. Can't wait to return.”

“We love Apna! This is our go-to takeaway. We've tried most dishes on the "modern classics" menu and have enjoyed each one, but our favourite is the Gurkha's Revenge (lamb) and Pista Malai (chicken). “My parents have been ordering from here since the mid 80s. We’ve since moved out of the area, but when I’m craving a good Chinese I make the 1hr round trip to Wing Wah. The food is always piping hot, flavoursome and I’m always greeted with a smile.”

“Wow. This place is lovely. The staff are great. The prices are reasonable and the portions are HUGE! Took kids, hubby and mother. Kids all ordered different milkshakes and these were amazing. All ordered different food. (They do 3 sizes of burger, small (about hamburger size) 1/4 pound and 1/2 pound). The jacket potato was enormous. Cannot fault any of it. Will definitely be returning.”

The Complimentary glass of House Red was most welcome too! Staff very attentive and the wait for food a very reasonable 20 minutes. Could not eat all we had ordered and they happily put rest in take away containers for us to take home. All in all a very good experience”

Vegetables tasted freshly cooked and sauces and spices subtle and delightful. Prices also very reasonable. Don't normally bother to post reviews but feel this restaurant deserves a good one, knowing few can afford to waste money on disappointing food in these difficult times.”
