“Have dined a number of times and never been disappointed. As it was bonfire night a friend and I decided to get a takeaway. The food was beautiful, hot, with all the right spices, making it the same as if dined in. What was exceptional was that 2/3 minutes after opening the takeaway bag I realised that one item was incorrect but as we liked this starter anyway we decided not to bother to do anything. However the phone went and panorama rang, full of apologies and sent a driver out with the item we had ordered. I said it didn’t matter but they insisted. I thought this was great customer service. Amazing food, never disappointed completed with great customer service by lovely people”

“Great food, generous portions. I placed a bulk order for around 25 people. The serving was more than expected, and the food was extremely delicious. You may wish to curb the hotness quotient. This team can really service you "hot" food. Great guys.”

“Great little place. Have been quite a few times and always great. Breakfast is delicious - not quite 100% on the eggs but that is personal preference. We went with our son recently and they were very accommodating with a high chair. I would recommend caution taking a pram because the place is small and if it is busy - as it often is - it can be awkward managing that BUT it is busy because of how nice it is.”

“Great tasting and authentic Indian food. The naans are baked at the restaurant (not out of a packet). The variety is good and taste is authentic. I ordered a Panner dish with garlic naan and it was awesome! Ended the meal with an kulfi, which was fantastic as well.”

The menu is extensive, the food expertly prepared (moist chicken especially!) wonderful flavors and excellent-friendly service. Can't wait to return.”

“We love Apna! This is our go-to takeaway. We've tried most dishes on the "modern classics" menu and have enjoyed each one, but our favourite is the Gurkha's Revenge (lamb) and Pista Malai (chicken). They are always so friendly on the phone as well. I wish it was a restaurant because I would go in a flash. Thank you Apna team for consistently wonderful food!”

“My parents have been ordering from here since the mid 80s. We’ve since moved out of the area, but when I’m craving a good Chinese I make the 1hr round trip to Wing Wah. The food is always piping hot, flavoursome and I’m always greeted with a smile.”

“We used the restaurant for the first time two days ago for a family takeaway. We ordered around 10 dishes and every single one was delicious. Vegetables tasted freshly cooked and sauces and spices subtle and delightful. Prices also very reasonable. Don't normally bother to post reviews but feel this restaurant deserves a good one, knowing few can afford to waste money on disappointing food in these difficult times.”

“Came down here for some food with my kids and really enjoyed it the food was lovely and the 2 classic meals for 11.49 is such a good deal which is what me and my daughter had so filling. she had the gammon and eggs and I had the katsu curry(which I highly recommend) Will definitely eat down here more often for that price!”

“Parking is an issue in the evening. I was driving around for a long time before I found a parking spot. Not the restaurants fault but soemthing to consider if visiting. The customer service was fantastic from the staff. The food was very nice, the only issue was that my food was a little too spicy for my liking. I would visit here again”

“Decided to give this restaurant a try. Have lived in Kensal rise for many years and have always walked by. Having read the most recent reviews on taste, I must say they are not wrong. Friendly welcome. Food portions are good. Food quality is brilliant. Food is fresh, not oily and very tasty. Chicken and prawn puree starters were delicious. Korma was light and very coconutty, Rogan Josh was full of flavour, mutton biryani was great soft tender lamb pieces, vegetarian thali was great and the pathia was very spicy but tasty. Price is pretty decent. It's such a shame the place isn't busier because it's an amazing little place. Will definitely be coming back.”

The breakfast buffet is fresh with a mixed of cooked food and fresh options such as brie, fresh fruit and avocado smash. All in all a great property!”
