Crofton Park Tavern
● Closed“Had my wedding reception at this location (Jam Circus then) years back. When it changed management twice I was apprehensive about going back thinking that good moments could not be recreated. I was wrong. The menu of the Crofton Park Tavern is tasteful. Every swallow (no pun) is a memory. Their Bingo night (1st Tuesday of the month) hosted by the lovely James is a must go. Great selections of ales and beers on tap too.”

The Guildford Arms
● Closed“Our server was a nice gentleman, unfortunately did not get his name. Went with family, for a reunion of sorts. Visiting from Canada, so I've never been here. Ordered the set menu. Tomato soup (it was alright, a tomato basil or a tomato bisque would have been better), the imam's bayild (the topping was amazing, not the biggest egg plant fan), and the cheese for dessert (chutney on the sweet side). Would certainly come back and try something new. Coffee a little on the tart/sour side.”

Guy Earl of Warwick
● Closed“Superb experience. We only live 5 mins away and been meaning to go here since the refurbish / new management. Honestly proud to call this my local. The staff are welcoming, the food is absolutely fantastic (hot honey chicken burger is to die for), and the kids food is great value. It’s quality like gastro pub food, but without the pretentiousness and fussiness. Decor is lovely and clean and tasteful. Well impressed - we will be coming back regularly.”

Nutfield Priory Hotel & Spa

The Lodge Hotel
● Open“We had used the Lodge for our family and friends to stay at for our wedding, and we were extremely happy all round. The rooms were up to a high standard, breakfast was great and more importantly the staff were incredibly helpful. In the run up to the event, they helped with our organisation, and while we were staying there, all the stuff were kind, helpful and very flexible, something particularly demanding when dealing with such a large group. Not only were my wife and I happy with it, but all our guests too had commented with how nice their stays were. If you are having a wedding nearby, we would highly recommend this hotel.”

The Godstone Inn
● Open“I am so glad I chose to stay in Godstone Inn. The family owned bed and breakfast is amazing! The room is perfect, clean, with a comfy bed, with plenty of pillows and blankets provided. There is a super nice lux- feel bathroom with a nice hot shower. My delicious breakfast was also included in my price. Inside the restaurant, there is also a little pub area, where I ended up spending good evenings with the locals, enjoying the conversations, drinking some good drinks, and eating amazing food. The restaurant serves fresh and delicious meals. I was also able to park my car at Godstone Inn, which was very helpful. The town of Godstone has some amazing walking parks and ponds, all within a walking distance away.. I even was able to swim in a pond nearby, called Divers Cove. I would definitely recommend staying here, the staff is helpful and friendly, this is an amazing gem of a place with very good vibe!”

Thank you for giving us a lovely afternoon x”

Anderson Tours
● Closed“Absolutely fantastic tour. Liza was a great guide with a lot of knowledge not only about the area we departed from (London, Dover Road) but also Dover castle, the White Cliffs, and Canterbury Cathedral. We had great weather which really added to the day but it would have been just the same even in the rain. We booked through Viator which was easy enough. Recommend bringing water and snacks and using the bathroom wherever you go. Not easy for people with mobility issues in some places at Dover Castle and the cliffs but the Cathedral was easy.”

There is always a great atmosphere in the pub and the music choice is just perfect. Keep up the good work”
