“The food is amazing and the service is great. After having lunch one afternoon, I forgot my bag in the restaurant. I called a week later to check if it was there. They had kept it safe for me. Everything, including my bank bank card was intact. I'm very grateful to all the staff at Tonbo !!!”

Dinner by Heston Blumenthal
“I had a wonderful dinner here. We opted for the full explanations of all the dishes and I really enjoyed this aspect of the meal! Learning about the historical significance of the recipes was very interesting. We got the famous meat fruit - well worth it, it was delicious. I actually thought the lamb and cucumber was a bit salty for my taste, but the lamb was cooked perfectly and I really enjoyed the roasted cucumber! I was skeptical about the idea of warm cucumber, but it was really delicious. The nitrogen ice cream was very fun! We enjoyed the explanation that came along with that as well and the strawberry compote in the bottom of the cone may have been the best bit of the night. Overall an excellent restaurant and experience”
O Farol
“What a lovely place for lunch. Chicken sandwich is massive and delicious. Good, well-priced coffee and cakes. Will definitely return for dinner sometime soon.”
Albertini Restaurant
“The picture of the wine wall was as far as I got because from when they took our drinks order whilst waiting for our table through to finishing our last sip of wine we were lost in the evening. It was a lovely summer evening and we were able to sit outside. The staff were lovely (busy, very busy) but attentive, pleasant and helpful with any questions we had on the menu. The food was absolutely delicious, and we are happy to have found this little gem so close to our hotel. 3 courses, a bottle of wine and a short potter back. Will definitely return next time we're down.”
AW Restaurant
“Had the Chefs Choice lunch menu and it was really really nice. Obviously very expensive but truly great flavours.”
L'oscar Restaurant
“There is a slight feeling of old world decadence and privilege when you visit here, which is quite nice in this era of cold modern interiors. The staff are very professional and the food is of exceptional quality. Visit for a lengthy lunch in the Holborn area of London.”
Friends of Flavours
“Really lovely and helpful people and the food was absolutely delicious. It was our first time here and will definitely not be our last. So nice to have such a lovely restaurant in our area.”
Numidie Bar and Bistro
“I took my wife here for our anniversary dinner, this was a week day due to childcare and the restaurant still had a lovely atmosphere, enough people to give a feeling of being in your own little bubble. We had a mixed platter to share to start, it was fantastic a very good size with a lovely selection. We both had a Tagine for our mains, I had the meatball with egg and the wife had lamb shank, they both came out extremely hot and the smell was amazing, neither dishes disappointed they were both beautiful. I also a had a pear and almond tart that I would highly recommend, a great finish to a lovely meal certainly worth a try. Staff were great very attentive without being intrusive. Also gave us a desert for free as it was our anniversary very nice touch, thank you.”
Johnnies
“The menu has plenty of options to chose from, there is something for everyone! Service is great Reasonable pricing - Portion size is generous so you're getting your monies worth Gets very busy as its a popular spot for locals and businesses”
Brothers Cafe & Restaurant
“Delicious Somali food! My friend brought me here and it was the best restaurant meal I had during the trip. We had a soup, then a platter of chicken and beef served on perfectly cooked rice. Accompanied by salad and a super fresh and spicy sauce, let’s not forget the banana. We wanted to try also the date cake, but it wasn’t available anymore, lucky us I guess because we were already stuffed. Now I want to try their other dishes.”
Moira Restaurant
“Dine in! It is way better than delivered. Falafel is crispy and well seasoned. Charcoal grilled platter is awesome. My favorite is the chicken wings. Compared to normal bbq, it is not dry or over seasoned. U still can taste the flavor of poultry itself. And £25 pc is very good deal.”
Boom Bap Burger
“We’ve been going to Boom Bap Burger and love it! If you love spicy food, I highly recommend 6 hour beef chilli cheese fries. It’s very tasty and moreish. Buffalo confit chicken wigs with blue cheese sauce is so good, too. The burgers are cooked perfectly with pink in the middle, which my family like. I always try M.W.A., mushroom with attitude. Portobello mushrooms, Halloumi cheese, pickles, lettuce and tomatoes. I am not vegetarian, but I tend to choose this burger. I have Code Hospitality App, that offers discount to partnered business. Boom Bap offers 50% off the food from Monday to Thursday for up to 6 people. It’s really worth it for a family of 5! There is a nice outdoor seating area. I highly recommend this place.”
D'Angelo Bar & Restaurant
“Had a lovely dinner last night! Starters and mains were delicious, plus they played good tunes!”
Flavours Eltham
“This place is a diamond in Eltham. Authentic Indian cuisine with a hint of class. Superb customer service, a huge thank you to Dhayan who recommended the perfect Indian. Will be my weekly Indian.”
Gem of Essex
“We have eaten here a few times now and have been most happy. The portion sizes are good, the food is always cooked fresh and is well seasoned, the restaurant owners and staff are really friendly and helpful, the restaurant is lovely and clean and modern inside and the prices are very reasonable. Without a doubt the nicest place to dine in Loughton.”

Ginger & Spices
“I ordered a takeaway via "Just Eat" from this restaurant on Saturday evening. Hands down it's the best Indian food I've had since moving into this area, and I've lived here a long time! Well prepared and generous dishes, and value for money to boot! will definitely be ordering from here again.”
Nuki's Kitchen
“Lovely small cafe run by friendly Thai staff. The food never disappoints. Make sure to book as there are only a few tables. They do take walk-ins if there are spare tables.”
Misto
“The food was delicious and the staff was great! We were able to slip in without a reservation, but while we were there they were busy and had to turn away many people who did not have a reservation.”
Little Sardegna
“On my most recent visit, I went with a friend and we had a lovely time. It was a Thursday night and even though we were there quite early (6.45pm), it was really quiet which surprised me. However, I’d still recommend to book as it’s been much busier when I’ve been before. We didn’t have any starters (my friend’s decision - I thought the burrata sounded great!). My main was the crab from the specials board, which was the perfect size and definitely not stingy with the crab. Really tasty. For dessert we shared the tiramisu which was creamy and light and I loved the flecks of crumbled amaretti biscuits on top, and the lemon sorbet. It’s hard to know what to say about lemon sorbet as it’s rare it’s not good. This was good. Prices were fair - my crab was about £16/17 and desserts were £6/7 Great for a cosy catch up, or date night.”
