The owner phoned me and was so so lovely and friendly, he apologised and was so considerate of our food requirements. He gave us extra desserts to try! Everything was delicious and we can't wait to come in to try more!!”

“Been going for over 2 years. Super friendly staff and very good at what they do. Lovely salon and excellent service. The hairdressers are all fantastic at this job. Never have I left there not feeling pleased. During Covid 19 the safety there is excellent. I felt safe the whole time. Lovely people. As it is Toni and Guy not the cheapest but the atmosphere, quality of service and products makes it worthwhile. Not a high turnover of staff which suggests happy workers. Highly recommend.”

“Visited the salon today and wasn’t disappointed! I went in with awful lockdown hair and these ladies went above and beyond to make my hair look good once again. They listened to what I wanted, advised, took their time choosing the perfect colours and I ended up with the most beautiful colours and hairstyle. My daughter had been in just beforehand and she also loves her hair. Nothing was too much trouble for these lovely ladies! They even rang around their other salons to try to find me a hairdresser to do an updo for my upcoming wedding…I would highly recommend this salon. Thank you! We will definitely be back soon x”

“I recently had the pleasure of visiting Academy hair salon in Hersham and the whole experience was most enjoyable. SJ (Sarah-Jane), an exceptional colourist of many years standing, used a new thermal treatment on my hair which was amazing. It was so light when applied and also took less time to ‘take’ which was a bonus. I was delighted with the result and would highly recommend both this procedure and SJ’s expert knowledge of colouring hair. Zoe’s excellent and professional blow dry completed a very enjoyable visit. “A nice small traditional styled Japanese restaurant. Food is excellent quality. Sushi and Sashimi are always a good way to see if a restaurant uses fresh ingredients and their sushi and sashimi are excellent. It is small, so not many tables, so it is probably worth booking as it can get busy.”

“We went to this lovely lovey family owned and run restaurant for my mother’s birthday. The food was so tasty and the service was excellent. The food came so quickly and the staff put so much effort into each of the tables- making a specific effort for each party. Their prices are really reasonable and the food is to die for with brilliant portion sizes. They also made a big effort for birthdays and got the music going as we were one of the last tables still there and made us laugh!! My brother speaks broken Italian and they spoke back and helped him with some of the words like spoon! Can’t recommend enough and we will definitely be going back again.”

“This beautiful little cafe on the river also does day boat hire is in the perfect location. The breakfast rolls coffee and froze are lovely as are the brownies! We hired a day boat for two hours to celebrate our dads birthday we also had three dogs! It made his birthday the hand over and instructions on how to handle the boat and the rules of the river were really good. I highly recommend both the cafe and the day boat hire. Thank you”

“Absolutely fantastic service given by the guys at Sandy Lane/MD Racing. I got a rear puncture on my motorbike at 1730 on Walton Bridge & desperately phoned around however everywhere, including Sandy Lane, had shut at 1700. No way of getting home. By chance I found a mobile number for MD Racing & they offered to stay late so I could at least get the bike to them for it to be fixed the next day. When I arrived I was greeted with smiles & welcomes & they wheeled the bike straight in for secure storage over night. Incredibly they offered to repair the punctures (turns out there was two) there & then. I was given tea/coffee whilst I waited although there was barely time - 20 mins for the wheel to come off, repair 2 punctures & get me back on the road. One of the gentlemen even stopped to check everything was okay when he saw me pulled over on the side of the road making a phone call before heading home. Exceptional service, truly above & beyond. Very grateful for such a great experience for what could have been a really arduous evening. Thank you.”

“We came to Nic with an old engagement ring that belonged to my late mother in law. From this he designed and made two beautiful rings. The service and craftsman ship are second to none. We will only be using Artielli in the future. 10/10”

“We visited on 11/2/23 Saturday late lunch 14:20 ish. There was a very warm welcome and a choice of seating for us and plenty more. The volume of customers was just right not too many and not empty despite the lateness of the time. I chose the Organic fillet of Salmon. Organic Salmon fillet pan fried in unsalted butter with crushed fresh herbs and white wine (optional), topped with roasted almond flakes served with sautéed spinach and roasted sweet potatoes. I didn’t recognise the sweet potatoes because they were white tasted just as good. It all tasted just as expected and I loved the sauce although I would have liked a little more. The salad had a lot of dressing so I would ask for no dressing next time. As we didn’t order a starter, we were offered some olives to keep us going as all the food is freshly cooked. My husband chose Adana Shoulder of lamb minced, blended with spices and herbs, char-grilled and served on lavash bread with bulgur, salad and sliced red onions. This was tasty but very spicy so he asked for a yogurt dip which made all the difference. (I don’t know it’s proper name). He also ordered chips which arrived (thermally) very hot. My only comment is that the plates could’ve been warm to keep the food warmer for longer. We don’t eat very quickly. The food came in good time. We didn’t have pudding as it was already a late lunch. A lovely complimentary square of sponge, soaked in something delicious like honey, arrived while we were waiting to pay. We had a lovely conversation with the waitress who was from Ukraine, and had been in the country several years. The menu is very extensive and each dish has a picture which is always helpful with such innovative looking food.”

“What can I say the food is so delicious, my first time in this restaurant and wow the starter got me straight away , then my main omg was so bloody tasty big up the chef the food was cooked perfection , 10 out of 10 brilliant atmosphere lovely clean and the staff are brilliant too will be definitely coming back 100%”
