WatchHouse Fetter Lane
“Really nice coffee shop. The coffee is absolutely top end. The flat white has lots of volume and is tasty. The service is quick and it has a nice ambience but can get noisy when busy but it’s a great place to be.”
hub by Premier Inn London Spitalfields, Brick Lane hotel
“Stayed here on my travels for work. The check in/out process was convenient and staff were helpful and efficient. Brick Lane is a very lively street (perfect if you love Indian cuisine!) and our room was right at the front - we didn't notice any noise at all. The rooms were cleaned to a high standard and I got a good night's sleep on a mattress far nicer than mine at home. Small note that the bed was very high off the ground because of storage built into the bed frame. Not an issue for me but worth mentioning for anyone with restricted mobility.”
The Plough Cafe
“Good service. Cheap and big portions.”
Allpress Espresso Roastery and Cafe
“Orange Polenta cake is just amazing. The best cake I've ever tried. (of course coffee is good, though) Lovely and kind staffs are plus.”
Cafe 1001
“It was one of the best experiences in London. Their coffee was one of the best I've tried, a real cappuccino. I'm still thinking about the sandwiches. The service was excellent. Amazing! Well done!!!”
Travelodge London City
“The people who are giving 1 star surely expected for this to be the Ritz or Four Seasons. The stay was fantastic, especially considering the budget price-point. Everything was clean and the room was extremely quiet. I was kind of worried about being on the first floor because my room faced the street, but I couldn’t hear anything at all. The only complaint I have is the shower. The water pressure is fantastic and the bathroom is spotless, but if you turn the water up too high, it splashes under the shower curtain on to the floor. This is just a design error. FYI, you have to request a hair dryer, cleaning, new towels, etc. IN GENERAL: clean, quiet, amazing location, comfy bed and friendly staff.”
Cafe Lavista
“Struggled to find a nice coffee place in the area. Happened upon this and loved every second. Lovely people, lovely coffee, and it even had a cute little kitty roaming around and totally wasn't the reason we decided to go in (it was. Love that friendly kitty). Free pastry with a large drink was just icing on the cake. Great place.”
BRICK LANE COFFEE SHOP
“I absolutely love this little gem of a cafe. I live locally and those late night cravings of their delicious pistachio waffles are not satisfied anywhere else except for here! All the staff working there are incredibly kind and genuinely want to make sure that you enjoy your meal. Highly highly recommend!”
YOTEL London Shoreditch
“Easy self check-in. Staff quickly available to support if needed. Compact rooms but not too small. Very clean. Good quality bed, sheets and showers. Bar open till after 11. Great location at 100m from Bethnal Green metro.”
ibis budget London Whitechapel - Brick Lane
“It was perfect for our weekend in family. Our daughter loved her bunk bed. Room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Shower was very nice and hot, bed was comfy. Not much space in the room, but we did not need it either. Breakfast was better than expected. Staff nice and smiley. Would definitely return.”
Babel Grill House Lebanese halal restaurant
“Decided to walk in to this place on a Wednesday night without a reservation but we weren't turned away. The friendly man managed to find us the perfect table until our food arrived. The food was incredible. Fresh and flavorsome. Will definitely be a regular here from now on! The service, atmosphere and food was top notch!”

The Long Haul
“Great selection of beer great atmosphere and comfortable surroundings.”
Old House
“A friendly, off-the beaten track local pub, serving great ales direct from the cask. Very traditional interior, and the locals are engaged in funny conversations and banter. This was a great pit stop on our long walk. I think this was how all pubs used to be - a genuine meeting place rather than somewhere to extract money out of you - I hope it never changes!”
Stage
“Good vibe! Coffee is good and the guy there (owner I believe) is very nice and has a big heart! Didn’t try the food this time but would definitely go back!”
Quarantacinque Bethnal Green
“Yesterday my Flight was cancelled and I've jumped into this Amazing cafè: the espresso was Amazing, a real italian espresso and the almond croissant was delicious (and I don't like croissant!). The Place Is cozy and the staff Is really nice and friendly. Andate tutti, si mangia bene e si viene accolti divinamente!”
High Grade Coffee
“Superb warm welcome and introduction to this micro-roastery, interesting chat about the various beans and then my first ever on-demand fresh roasted coffee. Beautiful flavour and finish. Fresh baked pastries and sandwiches loaded with filling we will have to come back and try. Top people top coffee, much love.”
Not Another Salon
“Norman is an absolute hair god. Every single time he comes up with something new, expertly executes it and makes me feel like a goddess. Plus the chat is always a good vibe. I’m so glad I found him…and I’m never giving him up.”
Chequers Inn
“Ordered a 3 course Sunday lunch which I collected. Starters was a prawn cocktail with focaccia and butter followed by roast beef, roast turkey, massive yorkshire pudding, 5 separate veggies, including honeyed parsnips and lashings of gravy. Followed by lemon meringue and ice cream, which we ate a couple of hours later. My wife said it was the best roast she had ever had, and I had to agree. Well done the Chequers Inn at Heaverham”

The Crown Pub & Guesthouse
“Very comfortable stay. Not too noisy whilst being very central in Hackney. Well kitted out rooms and a friendly welcome. The pub is very much an East end boozer, but has a couple of craft offerings.”
Standard Balti House
“We went to brick Lane to see what restaurant would stand out to us. When we were approached by the fella outside trying to get us in we instantly took a liking to his ways. When we entered the restaurant the staff was warm and friendly and we could have a laugh with them. The service was great and the food was amazing. As much as I was full, the food was so good I didn't want to stop eating. The clientele around us was friendly and fun with the atmosphere to match. It was myself and my partner who ate here and are now trying to get a group of friends to go back with us in the new year. Would 100% recommend this restaurant. Xx”
Damascus Bite
“Wow! Amazing food, the staff are so lovely, and they're open late. Right on Brick Lane too, so perfect location for a late night meal or a pre party bite!”
