“Lovely little Bistro. Food was very good and thought the price was very responable. There was 6 in our group and we all had mains and dessert and a drink worked out £25 per head and 3 of us had fillet steak which was beautifully cooked.”

“Great cycle stop! Staff opened the back gate to let me bring my bike into the courtyard, offered to bring my order to my table (carrying a tray in cycling shoes isn’t easy!) and even filled up my water bottle. Had a lovely panini, cake and coffee and a very reasonable price too.”

“Excellent starters and mains as you'd expect from a modern Indian restaurant like Social Dhaba. The themed interior of copper and "dhaba" style, the ambience and atmosphere were all very unique and interesting. Overall enjoyed the experience with family and the service was also great.”

It's very healthy as well (i went for the beef steak with rice and spinach with a diet coke...only cost £8 in total). The man who runs the place is very welcoming and generous. “I visited this lovely place a few months ago. I'd never tried Chaii, nor Milk Cake so I was in for a fabulous surprise! I had the Pink Kashmiri Chaii, and a Pistachio Milk Cake. I love my food and have a sweet tooth, have eaten in many countries but Oh My Days, this beautiful assault on my senses was sublime. The smooth, silky chaii and the beautiful texture and flavours of the milk cake were like heaven in my mouth. I really hope I'll be back in the area soon, definitely on my list to return!”

“Fantastic little family run cafe where we’ve been going for years. The chilli con carne is so good. Also had a nice caramel coffee frappe, though i think they might need to upgrade their blenders or put new blades as it’s not as smooth as it should be. Lots of small pieces of ice which makes it less enjoyable to drink.”

“As a Palestinian, I was very happy to see a place like Akub open in London. This quaint & cozy space serves innovative twists on traditional Palestinian cooking. Dishes like the Short Rib Fatteh, Bukjet Mousakhan & Shish Barak with Beetroot are delicious & pleasantly light. The dessert, especially the dead sea salt chocolate cake, is out of this world! Akub also serves Palestinian arak, wine & beer, so you get to enjoy a Taybeh or 2 with your meal ;) The decor is on point too - tasteful cultural symbols minus the clichés (no flags or rifles, though of course the spirit is that of Free Palestine).”
