Perks & White
“Best coffee I’ve had in a long while. Tasty and a proper measure of a flat white to get me going. Not turning my beard any less white though! Bam.”

Bojangles Coffee House
“We had a lovely time, the service was personal and brilliant. Food, exceptionally good. I would suggest making a booking as it was really busy all the time we were there. I would definitely recommend Bojangles.”
Starbucks Coffee
“Was assisted by staff named Tisha, really kind and had a cheerful attitude. Loved her service. Keep it up.”
Fornham Guest House
“Compact guest house accommodation, has basics covered and some extras. Gated parking so very secure, however a little tight round the parking areas. Bathrooms were hotel like and living rooms had a sink, toaster fridge etc. Perfect for a few nights while visiting Legoland or Thorpe park for example. Lovely and quiet area, saw dear crossing road just outside. Well balanced value for money, would recommend.”
Quba Travel Ltd
“I have been in contact with Quba Travel Ltd for the past 2 years regarding Hajj. Due to the pandemic, we could not go to hajj in 2020 or 2021 and just about a month ago when we were looking to get ready to go to hajj in 2022 with Quba travel, the Saudi hajj ministry had other plans. Even though we now are unable to go to Hajj with Quba anymore, I would still recommend them for 2 reasons, one is because of my dear friend Shaykh Abid Khan's recommendation of Quba back in 2019 and second, because of my experience with them over the last 2 years. There was a lot of uncertainty during the pandemic but at each stage I was given a thorough update about any and all developments regarding the state of hajj. I specifically want to thank brother Shahid with whom I had the most contact with. He was mashaAllah incredibly courteous, professional and helpful in all of his emails and phone calls. Alhamdullilah, I felt content every time I spoke with him and even now that we are parting ways, he has offered to help should I get selected for Hajj this year inshaAllah. May Allah reward brother Shahid and other brothers in Quba travel who provided me with timely updates. May Allah grant everyone associated with Quba Travel with an abundance of sustenance and blessings and put barakah in their business. Ameen. Wasalaam. Dr Bilal Ahmad”
Phil You Up
“I wasn't expecting this level of incredible food from a food van - I guess this teaches me a lesson to never judge somewhere without trying ;) Chips were on point!! And the jerk chicken in pitta was great!! Excellent friendly service as well. Note it is cash only.”
Cafe Barca
“I went for some food while waiting for someone to be seen at the hospital. The staff stayed open later than normal for me to eat in. I had the chicken escallop and bacon sandwich and it was one of the best sandwiches I've ever had! Amazing place.”
Cafe Green
“Absolutely delicious and authentic small business. Way nicer than the central Viet restaurants and reasonably priced. BIG portions, fresh ingredients and extremely kind service too. We got an explanation with every meal and left the place really happy. Thank you”
Tip Top Tasty
“The best biryani I’ve ever had. Tip stop Tasty is a few doors further down than its location on Google Maps - inside the street food market. Love this place, felt like being in India. So many flavours in the biryani & dal, and the doza was light and tasty. Prices very low. Can’t wait to come back soon.”
Speedboat Bar
“I took two friends visiting London for lunch and we loved it! The food is super authentic, and the waitress who served us was not only nice but also very funny! The prawn ceviche was spectacular although very spicy! The noddles and sweetcorn fritters are a must on your order if you go. Highly recommended!”
Yen's Kitchen
“This place is amazing! The staff are so friendly - we went in after closing time, yet they still made us our order and let us dine in. They are so incredibly sweet and the food is banging always!”

The Grind Café
“SUMMARY: Lovely friendly cafe / restaurant. Consistently good. We've visited on different days at different times - always hard-working, polite, diligent, and serve great quality food and drinks. Today's pictures are on a Sunday and the place is very busy - but we don't mind. It can be a bit noisy - but it's a cheerful chatty noise. We have been here when it's super-quiet and peaceful, so it's up to you to choose a good time depending on your mood. THE MENUS: Great choices of breakfast, healthy options, Mediterranean, brunch, lunch and snacks. We're never bored with the choices. Today's photos are the grilled chicken salad after the gym. Substantial, fresh and delicious. See photos of the menus. PRICES: very fair and reasonable - generous portions. DECOR & COMFORT: Contemporary look, nice, comfortable and a choice of indoor and outdoor. At the rear there is more outdoor seating in a cute yard but is down some steps. THE SERVICE: Always good. Very attentive and well trained staff. Eye contact and a genuine concern to make your visit good. They will change things, fix things and want to do the right thing for you. TOILETS: Very clean, smell-free, large, adequate with baby-changing fold down table. Step-free level access for buggies and wheelchairs. See photos. BUT... no handrails for the disabled which really would be a bonus. There was a chap in a wheelchair in the café when we visited, and it would be so much better putting a few more facilities for the less able. (Additionally, the Café entrance step could be corrected to allow for step-free access. It's very small, but I know from experience that even these small steps can be stressful for the less-able.) Finally, regarding the toilets: it is a fashion these days to install really high-powered hand driers. The one in this toilet, like many, is DEAFENING. At some stage, the law will change and these will be removed. Illogically loud. (And you can't put your wet fingers in your ears whilst trying to dry your hands! ) THE LOCATION: Busy part of West Wickham near a cross roads and the local council gym-swimming pool. So, parking outside is on the meter - see photos. The street across the road is free is you can find space (except 1-2 pm, Mon-Fri... be careful, you will get a ticket!). Or, pay to use the gym car-park. OVERALL: You can see from the ratings that The Grind is well respected and loved amongst the locals, the elderly, the young, parents with children & babies, groups, alone, the lads from the gym, the girls on a chatty afternoon... well liked by all. Cheerful, lively, successful. Well done to The Grind. We'll be back!”
Green 17 Bistro
“Really lovely cafe with plenty of space for prams. Great selection of food and very decent portions. I shared an American breakfast with 3 year old and there was lots for us. Incredibly friendly staff who were very accommodating.”
Trevelyan Hotel
“Hotel was excellent stopped her for 1 night but wish we had stopped all week, Jackie was wonderful and helpful, excellent hostess, comfy bed, clean and tidy and very welcoming definitely will stay again”
Café Chai
“Have been two times before an afternoon walk in Banstead woods. Tried various omelettes and a bacon and egg sandwich, all were lovely. The omelette with sides is a big portion which I share with my 4 year old. It's my aim to return and try the delicious looking scones. There's only one toilet which can result in small waits but it was relatively clean. Environment busy but comfortable and pleasant on the eye.”
Bui Vien Restaurant
“A lovely quaint restaurant. Very well decorated. Good service and the food was delicious. Definitely an unexpectedly good night with good vibes.”
Cafe Macarong
“Lovely spot for a coffee and cake – but it’s more than a café stop. They have books for you to read! This place provides a soothing sanctuary of calm for those looking for a place of rest and reflection. And it’s just yards away from Kew station. Serves fantastic coffee. Inexpensive. We love their incredibly tasty food, such a huge array of vegetarian and vegan options. Nice friendly atmosphere. Yes go browse the shelves or your newly-purchased reads while you sip a latte and chat with the owners about their most highly-recommended books of the moment. Kew Bookshop is just opposite.”
Piggies
“Went for breakfast here. The staff are really lovely and friendly. The food was good, exactly what you want for a cafe. They have a good selection to choose from and lots of sweet treats too.”
