“We went to the Royal Oak almost by chance since we were exploring London and we got hungry, being this the only Pub opened nearby that accepted card payment. Staff was super friendly and the food was sufficient for us to go from 10 am to night without eating (We ordered a pie which comes with chips each). I was surprised when I saw the rating it has due to bad reviews from years ago. If you have the chance to go here, do so! You'll have friendly service, decent food and a space to rest from all the walking one normally do when exploring.”

“New addition to the chain. If you arrive by train into Paddington it is literally under a 10 min walk. The nearest tube is Edgware Road again a very short walk away. Check in was easy but still not entering rooms for housekeeping if you are on a stay of more than a few days. You can request everything and help yourself to tea, coffee etc in reception. They really need to get back in the real world. Staff were all really professional and we loved the breakfast staff, bright and happy to start your day. As will all Premier Inns there is an on site restaurant which is very nice and doubles for breakfast. Room was well presented. Typical London prices at just over £200 per room per night”

“Even though the beds are small for tall people, I had a great stay. Felice, the girl who does the night shift (on tuesday night) was super helpful and kind. I’m diabetic and she helped me out a lot when my sugar was low. I’m very thankful to her.”

The samosas were crunchy and full of filling, and bread light and fluffy. Like other reviews we look forward to trying the full menu, but for tasty home made Indian food at a very reasonable price look no further. 10/10.”

“Came here on a Saturday evening, it was super busy but they had us sat down speedily. The service was attentive, fast, and friendly. I would 100% recommend the calamari, up there with the best I’ve had! The jungle curry is supposedly spicy but it was not spicy at all, and if you’re Bengali, it tastes like a traditional Bengali chicken curry with less spice!”

“Lovely venue which is quite big inside, security on the door are friendly. Good menu with lots of choices, was really happy with what I ordered it was very filling and full of flavour, the Korean fried chicken wings were my favourite, black pepper prawns could do with a little bit more flavour. Service is really good and staff are friendly. Definitely try the virgin mango daiquiri.”

“Lovely, quiet Chinese restaurant. First time visiting on a Monday evening, wonderful attentive waitress who really looked after us. The food was so tasty authentic chinese cuisine, nicely cooked and delicious. The ambience was great with lovely soothing music quetly playing in the background. Definetly, recommend anyone going.
