THE DP CAFE
● Open69a High Street Whitton, Twickenham TW2 7LD, United Kingdom“Originally posted at time of visit but for some reason it was not showing on maps, reposting as the issue seems to have been resolved. The DP Cafe - Whitton Sunday 11th September 2022 - 15:50 Opening Hours: Monday - Saturday- 07:00-17:00 Sunday - 08:00-16:00 There is some seating outside and plenty of seating inside. The refurbishment inside is really nice and is colourful, bright, fresh and it is very clean. I had a medium coffee with a slice of chocolate and caramel cake. A really nice smooth coffee and scrumptious cake, all for £6.30p which I think is reasonable. The couple running the place are friendly, polite and very welcoming. I’m not one for coffee shops but I will definitely become a regular visitor here.”

Cheeky Chops Play Cafe
● Open“We love coming to cheeky chops to play!! Held my daughters 5th birthday here back in August and feel it's the ideal environment to take my boisterous 2 year old! The staff are always so friendly and welcoming. No ask is too much here! The members of staff are always willing to help and always walking around to see if they can help with anything. Occasionally my girls got stuck at the top of the frames and the staff have been there to go up and retrieve her or help guide her down! The cakes are always amazing and with freshly baked pastries what more could you want!!”

Eel Pie Pub & Restaurant, Twickenham
● Open“Went to this pub on a rugby day it was very busy, but it had great atmosphere. The bar staff were very quick and efficient and used to deal with all this well. We stayed in the little court yard garden at the back as we had someone who likes to vape. The garden can be accessed directly via a side alley very useful for disabled customers. A good pub, busy but lots of fun.”

The Mugs Patisserie
● Open“Mugs Patisserie has to be my favourite coffee shop in Twickenham. I love coming here on a Saturday or Sunday morning for a slow relaxed cup of cafe and a pastry/cake. It can get busy but not in the same hectic/heaving way you may see in 1-2 other places in Twickenham, nor is it the empty soulless place you see with so many chains. This hits the sweet spot and the pastries are wonderful and coffee great. The staff always offer a big smile on arrival. There is some writing on the wall that says “You cannot make everyone happy - you are not coffee”. A little place of joy!”
-

The Rifleman
● Open“This is the best pub I have discovered this century. Period. Steve, the bearded manager, was super friendly, humorous and could not do enough to advise on the beers and history of the place but also, importantly for us, transport home. He could not have been more accommodating and delightful. What enthusiasm! The like of which I haven’t seen from a publican or staff member in a pub in decades.”
