The Holy Tavern
“A unique and very special London pub experience. Fresh beer straight from the barrel in a historic building that makes you think that Pepys and Dickens might walk in any second. Decent pork pies, too!”
The Gladstone Arms
“One of my favourite pubs, always such a warm welcome. This pub has one of the most genuinely friendly atmospheres about! A true "IYKYK" pub, one of the greatest pubs in London in my opinion. Also great beer, fantastic food (go for the roast on Sunday, it will blow your world).”
The Dog & Duck
“Lovely pub, with friendly staff and patrons, also does a different selection of top class food every Saturday”
The Plume of Feathers
“Going to "The Plume" is like seeing an old friend, small things change but essentially the best bits remain. Fortunate because I met an old friend there and we quaffed excellent Harveys bitter and lager, eating well off of their seasonally changing menu. They are still misguided in their football affilliation, but that aside it's a well kept, well run pub and worth a visit to recharge after a brisk walk in the park.Recent managers installed who love the pub and don't see the need to change anything. Held a wake there and food excellent with great service. a pub that deserves to succeed.”
The North Star
“Great pub, great atmosphere, great food! Already arranging another meet up with colleagues at this fine establishment. Oh, the oven stone baked pizzas were yum too...”
Chesham Arms
“Chesham Arms is a hidden gem of a pub located on a quiet back street that offers a lively and cosy atmosphere. The pub boasts a warm and inviting fireplace that adds to the overall charm on cold nights. The large beer garden is a real highlight, providing ample space for groups of friends to enjoy a pint in the sunshine on a hot day. Nice selection of beers with a range of local and international brews available. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, always happy to offer recommendations to those unsure of what to order. Great spot for an evening out with friends or a weekend afternoon in the beer garden. Its cosy atmosphere and friendly staff make it a must-visit for anyone looking for a welcoming and authentic pub experience.”
The Gun
“Had a divine sesame negroni here (wow, such flavour) and quite possibly the best cauliflower I’ve ever tasted. Not your run of the mill cocktail bar, this place is a real gem. Will be back and trying lots more nibbles and drinks!”
The Kentish Belle Ale House & Gin Palace
“Just wanted to update on my old review. As always a great selection of cask, keg and ciders plus the more exotic cans and bottles in the fridge. From IPAs to sours and stouts, the Belle has it all. They do have a wide selection of gins and mixers too so if that's your bag you'll be satisfied with what they've got.”
Foresters Arms

Bucks Head
“An awesome spot for lunch after a long walk in Knole Park. Smiley faces and big welcomes as soon as you step through the door and the quality continues right through each course until you decide to leave after a couple of pints and warning up by the fire. Food was on point ans service was great, couldn’t fault it on bit.”
The New Angel Inn
“Good and cold beer. But as important is service and the service here is lovely correct polite and very very friendly. Great music and outside area too. No hassle just a nice group of people enjoying a glass or ten after work. Pool is the only let down as I can't win.... Bah humbug. Again lovely staff and lovely pub! John-boy. Mines a fosters please landlady!”

“Wish there were more places like this in Ealing. Great setting with seating outside the front to watch the world go bye. The selection of wine is unusual with an abundance of natural wines to choose, staff we very helpful making suggestions. The food is scrummy, best cookie I’ve have!! Pastrami, Camembert & Pickle Bun Milk Chocolate Chip Cookie”
The Red Lion & Cellar Room
“Enjoyed a birthday meal with a group of seven last evening. Christmas Dinner was superb, huge variety of accompanying vegetables which really brought home the phrase “all the trimmings”. Two of the group had general menu items which were equally enjoyed. Super service, excellent timings. Coming back for another this month, so good. The following Wednesday - came back with my wife for a second Christmas meal. Every bit as enjoyable as the first, so there is consistency. Thank you to all the staff!”
Ruislip Social Club
“Always a good night, lots of cover bands, the drinks aren't expensive. Great venue a really good night. For a small venue they make it sound like a big one.”

The Ganton Arms
“Had to get fish and chips! Cool spot in the busy street to grab a cocktail and some food. Decent seating inside and out for a larger crew, and the bartenders are very welcoming. Made a nice mojito as well! The food was excellent, calamari, halloumi chips and the fish of course. Would likely run back in here next time I’m passing through, a lot of excitement in this pub and the area.”
Seasons Notting Hill Bistrot
“Really good experience in Notting Hill. We went there for a Sunday lunch, had 2 oysters, a burrata to share as a starter and a seafood risotto and octopus burger. The food was fresh and tasty, and the service was good too. I would reccomend this restaurant if you love seafood.”

“Lovely place, climatic, amazing staff, atmosphere - got there during recent music gig, great band played there, Tequila Chase - enjoyed a lot and definitely will come back. Nice place for having friends or family gathering for the late afternoon and evening. There is plenty parking spaces and also very nice neighbourhood in Harefield, worth visiting. Strongly recommended.”
El Meson De Los Hermanos
“A cosy, nice restaurant. The menu is not very extensive but everybody, who's into Spanish cuisine, will find something nice for themselves. The food is just lovely! The staff are really friendly and well - mannered. I strongly advise that you pop into this restaurant. It's definitely money and time spent well.”
Banh Mi 108
“On the menu for weekend 10/11th Feb 2018: Hu Time Nam Vang - tapioca noodles in pork broth, with succulent prawns, char sui pork, pork mince garnished with spring onions coriander and Chinese chive. Really excellent a wonderful break from my usual Pho I espied Banh mi 108 about a month back walking out of the tesco opposite. It's hidden away in an an unpretentious corner with a lite lime facade and no fancy display. To be honest if you aren't looking for it toh won't know it. However something about the place is inviting and cozy, and I kind of made a mental nite to gi and explore asap. Having tried out some excellent Vietnamese meat rolls in Birmingham last year, I was looking forward to coming in and comparing. Needless to say rhe ace is exceptional. The sUmmer roles were fresh made, rolled up delicately aromatic greens, some pork and prawns. Delicioso . Follows with a steaming hot bowl if Pho, beef soup and noodles with more greens, chillies and beansprouts. The broth was light, and fresh made and delicious. Thoroughly enjoyed a great service. Will go back for more”
The Pheasant Inn & Restaurant Heathrow
“Went here for a Christmas do a couple of years back, was impressed. Still incredibly impressed when I went back yesterday and had the death by meat aka the Mixed Grill - big portion, plus meats were cooked perfectly. Excellent pub with great food, worth a visit, but better to book ahead if you want to eat in the evening.”
Desi Flavours London
“Mix grill was one of the best, good value, can be starter for 2 to start with. Chicken Birayani was superb and I also order chicken curry with bone , I would prefere bit more masaladar with green chilli spiced, like Desi Falvor and, it's says ghee may be more brown butter, Garam Desi Flavour Garam Masla and brunt ghee ! Garlic Naan was superb. Papadam and all relish, dips were fantastic, eveything Desi style, my son love the raita, I love that red spicy sauce and tamarind chutney. What you need with chillied Cobra beer and all of this. See you guys again with all of my friends and family. Kudos to Chef and his team.”
Rasoy
“Simply the best Indian food in this area of Surrey - and we've tried most of them I think. Now we just stick with Rasoy, visiting probably once per week for two years now. We've taken friends and family, and never once been let down. Freshly made, delicious food, always spot on, always looked after.”
