“Hands down the best food I've eaten all year. We watched an Instagram about this place and had to try, and we were not disappointed. The staff were amazing, I forgot the name of the lady who served us but she was really good. Over all, ten out of ten.”

“My favourite roast in the area! We visited the pub again this Sunday and it was as good as usual. We didn't make a reservation and so we had to wait for 10-15min for a table. However, staff were very friendly and promptly accommodate our request. The roast was delicious, very generous size and very short wait to have the food brought to the table. Prices are very reasonable.”

Food does take a little while to come and we did have to call the waiters a few times to be able to order food but wouldn't rate the place any less because of that. “I booked my table online 20mins before arrival, but it did look like they would have space for walk-ins, 8pm Thurs evening. Very nicely decorated, the DJ was amazing!! The heater system is great, I didn't feel cold at all. Drinks were half price - I'm not sure why. I had the lamb burger which was delicious, and a mango mocktail. Very filling. I did see some people order a dry ice decorated dessert which looked fun. And a few birthdays - the staff come out with candles and birthday music. The shisha was great, smooth, disposal pipes - Using a heat management system, lasted 2hrs. I would visit again.”

“The best gastropub in Harrow by far. Great food, ambience and service. Vegetarian options are not an after thought. Also love that they have plenty of healthy options rather than fried and fast food. Having said that - must leave room for dessert!”

“Huge Ember Inns pub where we enjoyed a pint and a mixed grill one warm early afternoon. We were the only ones in at that time, but I can imagine it getting busy with drinkers and foodies alike. Would definitely return if we're ever in that area of London again, and maybe stay for more than one next time.”

I recently chose WIV to have a business lunch due to the space and privacy it offers, not to mention the great chefs who work there- the food is always 100% We were left in peace to work and yet somehow the waiter was always on hand when we needed anything. “Love this pub, a beautiful big garden and one of the few traditional pubs left in Harrow. Had a meal here today, first time since the new chef started, and it was amazing. The roast potatoes were absolutely to die for. Very friendly and helpful staff too, we had a lovely relaxing Sunday lunch. We will definitely be back!”

“Excellent pub which is spacious inside with a great atmosphere. The pub has an outdoor seating area, which would be great in the summer. Can get a little busy in the summer though. Visiting on a weekday is fairly quiet. Food menu has a variety of choice and plenty of dishes for vegetarians and they also have vegan options too. Ordering is very simple and can be done at your table along with the payment. Staff are super friendly. Would definitely recommend to friends and family and would visit again.”

“Indian Lunch items are exceptionally good. Lovely food. Tried the Lamb rice and Chicken Kothu roti. Ask for the curry as accompanying dish for kothu roti. Will visit again for sure.”

A fair priced hotel in a good location in regards to the hospital, straight away i was given a very friendly warm welcome from the owner/manager who you can tell wants the best for his customers and i can really respect the effort he puts in to make sure everyone is happy. Ive got the double room which is perfect for what i need, all amenities which you require for a short stay. Cleanliness here is nothing to worry about as the cleaner does a superb job. Beds are comfy and the bathroom/shower is clean and welcoming which isn’t usually the case in small independent hotels with affordable rates. If you’re looking for somewhere to stay in this area or staying over night to do a parexel study, this is the place to stay, better supporting the locals than the big chain around the corner.”

“Amazing Indo-Italian food. Family favourite with a superb golf range. Surprised to find new investors from September would completely change the menu with American favourites. Place has a strong following and I would imagine lot of people including a large vegetarian regulars will be disappointed.”

“I had a really good time here with my family, being far from home this place manage to bring the atmosphere from Romania with live music and our traditional dishes. A good place for a Saturday evening, celebrate an important event or just to have a drink at the terrace.”

“A small but nice little pub a few minutes from Harrow-on-the-Hill Station. Very clean and tidy. Only one barman on and he was very polite and cheerful and always cleaning if not serving. The pub was really a row of comfortable booths along either wall with a number of tall tables and chairs throughout the rest of the pub. Another Wetherspoons recently put on the market and I have no doubt it will be missed when it goes. Oh, and the Guinness was excellent.”
