"What a pleasant lunch! Popped in on Curry Club Thursday for a little bit of spice in the afternoon and we weren't disappointed with either the food or the service. Young barman was 'holding the fort' under a wave of requests,but did so with good spirit and even when minor item missed,new manager stepped in to offer pudding in exchange and she even enjoyed the moment when missing item suddenly appeared. Well done all, we shall surely return!!"

"Lovely little pub with a lower level in the back and a beer garden beyond that. The pub was clean and tidy and the barmaid was cheerful and polite. The pub was reasonably busy and with the small bar the staff were very efficient in dealing with everyone in a timely manner. The Guinness was excellent"
