“I've been told about this place many times from my friends how good food is there. So I had chance for first time to try it. And I can say that it was worthed. They do emaizing twist with sushi maki. All feel very fresh and tasty. I try for starter miso soup and Agedashi Tofu. For main: Baby Dynamite, crispy, Scallop Volcano. And recommend all. Great experience.”

“What fantastic experience at Rush this week! I have never spent money on 'cut and colour' (I'm a tied back pony tail person!) but decided it was time to invest in a 'proper' colour/style consultation and it was so worth it. I was given an apt with Baek and I could not recommend him more highly. He translated my ramblings (!) and random photos into a new style and colour that I love. All of this was carried out with such care and attention and precision. Plus he gave me clear guidance on how to manage and maintain it. Thank you Baek...I'll be back!”

“Went for Sunday roast and it was very nice. I had the lettuce bacon and avocado salad as a main and there was plenty of it, it was delicious and I’d come back just for this salad. My other half had the chicken roast and he said it was really good. We also had all the side dishes to the roast: also very good! I recommend the Douro if you like a rich red wine, very good value. The staff was really good too, especially as it was very busy as we came in at 4.30pm. They deserve the 5 stars as far as I’m concerned.”

“I had no balance before I had therapy, the lady who came to my house was very good , both in being very professional and very encouraging , also polite and friendly. She kept me at the exercises and so encouraging that I had to do them when she wasn’t with me. “What a lovely setting for an opera house. In the theatre itself, the seats are comfortable and have great sightlines in the stalls. There's a large orchestra pit and a large stage too. The theatre is a work in progress, and there are still facilities to build. But don't let that put you off! There's enough there for your visit to be comfortable and worthwhile. I saw Gods of the Game today and it was top notch and as good as any opera I've seen in the West End. It's a bit off the beaten track, so you'll need a car to get there unfortunately, but there's plenty of parking and it's not a long drive from South or West London.”

“Mike was absolute lifesaver in dealing with a difficult problem of creating access for a broken extractor fan which had been buried in the ceiling by the original builder. He created an access hole for the electrician to fit a new fan then made and fitted a lovely cover to hide it. It looks great”

I cannot praise all the staff highly enough - both in the hotel and the Brewer's Fayre next door - for their helpfulness, politeness and professionalism, especially Judith on Reception. The breakfast in the morning was delicious and great value for families with the kids eat free deal :-) You won't be disappointed here - do give it try!”

“I was disappointed that there was no lift, as women travelling alone are always put on the top floor for some reason. My room was also the first one from the stairs. Fortunately I was only disturbed but one group of people shouting along the corridor. My main complaint, though, was the freezing cold water coming from the shower. When I mentioned this to the receptionist as I left, she told me I should have informed reception. When I said I'm not sure how when I was in the shower, she just said "oh". Update to previous review: I stayed here last weekend and it felt completely different to last time. The day before I arrived, one of the receptionists, Megan, rang to check if there was anything in particular that I required for my room. I have been staying in Premier Inns for years and have stayed in loads of them and this has never happened before. She asked if I was coming for a special occasion and I mentioned it was my birthday the previous day and that I was visiting my daughter. When I arrived in my room, I found a box of chocolates, a can of lager and a small bottle of sparkling wine, along with a card and birthday message from the hotel. I thought this was such a lovely thing to do. Megan deserves a special mention because she was extremely friendly and helpful during my stay.”

“Went for a haircut here today at the recommendation of a friend. Having what I perceive as difficult hair (thin and curly) I am always trepidacious going somewhere new, but I shouldn't have worried. Pat quickly put me at ease and understood my hair. She listened to what I wanted and did what she said she would. I've received so many comments today about my hair that I feel that I am walking on cloud nine. So much more reasonably priced than most other salons round here too. I'll be back! Thanks Pat.”
