They were also very understanding of dietary restrictions, and made an excellent vegan pizza for me. The place is certainly child friendly, has what looks like easy access for wheelchairs, and a couple of parking spots outside, though they're not reserved for customers. My only complaint is that I like my pizzas a little more crisp, but I'm sure they would have obliged if I had only told them that.”

The front bar is tailor-made for conversation but there's a few nooks and crannies if you just fancy a quiet drink. The beer garden may be under the flyover but it's well-maintained and comes into its own in the summer. The best pint of London Pride for many miles and high-quality Italian-style pub grub too. Go on, you know you want to.”

“Such a lovely pub, a hidden gem since we came across it been back about 5 times in a row! A really good location next to the station, usually order steak melt and always is delicious. “We had Goats curry and it was delicious. The prices are very reasonable and the restaurant was very busy on a Saturday evening, hence the not so quick service, but still good and very friendly. The restaurant itself is one big room and not the brightest lighting. Still works. We will definitely come back for another meal.”

“Celebrated a 92 birthday and it was good! We were a party of over 30 and had our own room. The staff were well organised and Freya looked after us beautifully. Thanks also to her colleague who helped at times. The food and drinks were great and we enjoyed ourselves. A bonus about the location is that it was just next door to Coombe Gardens where we could take photos. Overall, a very good way to celebrate an event. Thanks and great job to the staff. We look forward to returning.”

“A lovely little town with friendly people and lots of hills. Not a lot to do here so we just used it as a base to travel to other parts of South Cornwall. The harbour is nice but looks overrun with wrecks.”
