“I took my partner here for afternoon tea on his birthday. We had an excellent time. The staff - Roxanne and Chris - went out of their way to welcome us and to make the experience feel special. The afternoon tea itself was fantastic with beautiful freshly prepared sandwiches and fresh warm scones (baked in-house). Highly recommend for dinner, lunch or a special occasion - we’ll be back soon!”

“A gorgeous, warm, vibrant, romantic, welcoming, charming restaurant. I visited on Saturday 29th October 2022 for lunch, for two. The menu appeals from top to bottom, the service is friendly, attentive and what really appealed was the recommendation for a wine so perfect for lunch, there was no way I'd have chosen so well. Overall, this is a fabulous place for lunch and I reckon even better for dinner......which I'm looking forward to finding out :)”

“Called in for lunch yesterday & enjoyed delicious food (my partner had the loaded fries & I had a chickpea burger with fries) & drinks (I had a yummy but somewhat potent Singapore Sling!). Had a real buzz about it (despite the fact it wasn't that busy at 12) & the attention to detail from a decor perspective was great (lots of nods to music & even a skeleton!!). Staff were smiley & efficient too. Will deffo go back again!”

The kids menu was very good, plenty of options to cater for simpler and more adventurous tastes. The triple cooked chips, these days almost a pub cliché, are worthy of a special mention! “Found this place on one of delivery company's website and didn't regret it! The burger was really really nice and very filling (two meat patties) and the Sticky Korean Fried Chicken was pretty good too even though I am not a big fan of peas in rice (it tasted much better than it looks). “Hands down one of the best places I’ve been to eat out in Europe. The interior was really cozy and welcoming. The FOOD was ridiculously delicious. 100% recommend the lamb and pig head. Staff are just delightful. You can even speak to the chefs while they prepare your food right in front of you! A must do if you come past Hackney.”

“The bar sandwich menu is really good and reasonably priced. The fish goujon sandwich is delicious. Soft fresh bread and packet salad but tender and fresh, with a good dressing. Highly recommended for lunch .. don't know about dinner.”

“We’ve eaten here a few times and it’s always consistent. Lovely food as always using fresh produce. Tonight I had the tagliatelle after seeing their beautiful fresh porcini. Pasta was homemade, perfectly al dente with ceps, porcini and truffle paste. I would happily eat another portion. Wonderful friendly service from Martina and the team.”
