“absolutely the best pizza and experience ever!! We had a couple of starters that were very nicely cooked and then the pizza which was just superb!! Even though the meal was stunning the main asset of this place is Alex, the young manager!! His friendly and super efficient service made our evening the 'perfect' one. We were so impressed by his calm yet confident attitude especially considering his young age. Absolutely best place and service in the area and strongly recommend! Well done everyone for the hard work and keep it up”

“We landed in london pretty late and needed to find dinner. I stopped by Maroush per recommendation. Toushal greeted us and directed us to whichever table was available, our choice. I ordered the hummus, spicy lebanese salad , and the pumpkin kebeh. Chefs kiss! Everything was so fresh and delicious— even late at night! My partner order the lamb and fries. She enjoyed her meal as well. Can’t wait to return to london and dine here again. I also would love to try their breakfast.”

“I used to be a bit sceptical about this place but it seems to be under new friendlier management. The decor inside is now great, the beer garden is totally transformed, and the flowers outside are always stunning throughout the summer. Good air con inside. Staff are lovely with my kids, a real pleasure there now.”

“My first visit to The Red Lion, I’m ashamed to say, especially as I used to live around the corner for over twelve years!! Anyway, attended tonight for a Rotary Club function, and what I sincerely hope will be our new club meeting venue each week. There were 11 of us tonight, and the food was served to perfection. Portion size is superb. I had the nachos, which was huge, and did me proud. Others ordered various items and were were all equally impressed. My friend sitting next to me had the pork ribs. I swear there was half a pig, and having had to help him, I know what I’m having next time. Staff friendliness and positive attitude is excellent and put the venue we are currently at to shame. With great parking in the road adjacent, and close by, after 6.30pm, as well as the bus service too, with stops almost outside; life just gets better. Oh, free WiFi, pleasant surroundings, and great food (at sensible prices), all make up a perfect package. Will I be back? You bet your life I will, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone.”

“What a lovely space has place become. Living locally we have visit The Gardeners many times before. The change in ownership massively effect the way we think about this place and we now visit every week. We can’t recommend their food enough. Having been there for the best Sunday roast and every day burgers you really can’t go wrong. The atmosphere is friendly, the staff is welcoming and it’s dog friendly. “Strongly recommend! After visiting Tate Britain I was looking for a nice pub to end a London weekend trip with some fish & chips, this was even better than I hoped. The food was super good, you can tell the products used are fresh, my fries were very well cooked (and I live in Belgium so I should know!) and the fish was delicious. My boyfriend’s meal was very good as well. Slightly more expensive than pubs nearby but it’s worth it.”

“Booked the upstairs dining room for a lunch for 20 people and can only say "perfection" on all counts. The room is warm and cozy, with beautiful views towards Battersea Park. Ideal for a Christmas lunch. The food was wholesome and tasty. Had one of the most generous steaks I've ever had and the roast potatoes were to die for! Finally, the service. The team went above and beyond, before and on the day I couldn't praise them enough. Even with all the last minute changes from our side, they were so accommodating.”

“Great Pub - Went for Sunday roast but as we arrived at 4:30 they were all gone which is totally understandable as it was late in the day. Had lots of other great options. Would advise anyone wanting a Sunday Roast to probably book for lunchtime slot and not evening. Great pub, great staff & great food”

“I honestly think this is one of the great London pubs. It’s perfect in every season. It’s perfect for a lone pint, for a family meal and, speaking from personal experience, the best place for a large scale event. They’re attentive and helpful and friendly and the food is good value and delicious. 5 stars across the board.”

“I've walked past this pub for ever but have always been in a rush and not had the time for a visit. Tonight we had a bit more discretionary time and decided to see if they had availability, which lucky for us we got the last two seater table. Great atmosphere and good food. Sorry forgot to take any pictures of the food, but the open fireplace is awesome on a chilly evening. Booking essential.”

Would definitely recommend if you want not extortionate prices and a friendly atmosphere! Noticed they do a comedy night Wednesday, might have to pop in!”

“We use the Daylight’s function room every week for a business networking meeting. The staff are helpful and welcoming. As we are there it would be rude not to stop for the occasional working lunch, and I have to say I haven’t been disappointed. “Beautiful pub in a historical building. We had my daughter's 5 year old birthday in their upstairs room and they couldn't have been more welcoming or helpful! The room is a great size for lots of little kids running around and there is a nice space for parents to have a drink.”
