She was very friendly and welcoming, asking if I would like anything to drink etc. Had a constructive chat about how I wanted my hair and Nicoleta knew exactly what she was doing and talked me through what she’d do. “I had a haircut & dry, Daisy sorted out a bad haircut I'd had done previously and fixed my cut for me. She explained well what her suggestion to resolve was, and did a great cut. At first I wondered if they mainly did (ahem) more of the older generation haircuts.. so it took a while for me to try them, but I’ve now been a customer for 3 years. Can’t recommed enough.”

At Icon Andrew know exactly how to cut my hair after initial consultation. I think I've found my salon. If you're NHS staff you get a discount as well.”

“I highly recommend Salvatore Grimaldi, he his a true artist and I am always extremely satisfied with the results. Salvatore has a great knowledge on color application and he is a great hair stylist, he always recommend the most suitable hair cut but he is also open to satisfy your wish :) Yesterday I showed him a picture of a color that I like and I was able to replicate the same color on my hairs. I am very happy and I will definitely go back for more lovely new looks :) The atmospheres its very relaxed and friendly, excellent staff!”

“Andria was the female owner of the shop and also my hair stylist today. She’s super nice, patient and very attention to detail. I highly recommend this shop. It is run by the couple only (no extra staff) so this place is a bit cheaper than the salons nearby. Worth a try.”

“If you're looking for a high quality haircut, this is the place to go. I've been a regular for several years now, and the barber always, *always* shows supreme attention to detail. No matter if there are people waiting in the queue, or if you're the last customer of the day at 6:30pm, you're always getting nothing less than a perfect haircut. Last but not least, it's a very welcoming and friendly environment. It's always a pleasure to be back there, and I'm always leaving feeling 10 years younger :) Oh, and yes, it's only £22, so kind of unbeatable.”

“Let me start my change in review for this salon..... My daughters hair came out amazing. It always does and she is not the easiest of children. So its worth it but if you want to speak to someone at the salon it's short of impossible to get ahold of them live. You need to work via emails and text messages. My concern was when I tried to call, you can't, so you email (I didn't have a number to text), when you send an email the response is "Thanks for the message. We are unable to monitor this mailbox regularly and our responses may take A FEW DAYS. We're unable to book appointments via email or phone unfortunately, but all appointments can be made, edit or cancel by simply clicking the link below" I get it... this is how they work, but in the moment when you are trying to call a retailer/business its frustrating. However as my first point says my daughters hair came out AMAZING, she loves the place and so I guess you have to deal for beauty and such.”

“This was by far the best hair dressing experience I ever had. Not only the team Is super professional and know their stuff, they are also kind, patient, pay attention to detail and most importantly, gentle! I stopped going to hair salons about 5 years ago after a really bad experience and started bleaching my own hair. Because I’m getting married soon I decided to go and get professional highlights. THE RESULT IS AMAZING!!! My hair still feels soft( as much as possible with bleach) and the colour is more than perfect. So happy I moved down the road to just pass by and try out this amazing salon. “Neo was very thorough and spent a lot of time on attention to detail. I have fine hair and he really seemed to understand how to work it to it's strengths. The whole team were friendly and made effort to speak to me and repeatedly check on my comfort, I was asked 5 times if I'd like any refreshment! “Second (Oct 2022): I've had an Aura treatment to smooth out my hair at cut and run twice now and wanted to report back. The treatment is amazing. It hydrates my hair without completely straightening it or loosing volume and gives me a consistent shine and wavy look. I haven't had to blow dry or use products in my hair in months. I could not recommend this treatment or salon enough. I also get great hair cuts here and always look forward to hanging out with Davey, Tera and the crew. First Review (Feb 2022): Could not be happier with my Aura treatment, done by Davey. Honestly have nothing but great things to say about the salon also. The aura treatment smoothed out my hair without killing all of my curls and volume (like keratin treatments have in the past). It’s exactly what I wanted. The treatment takes a little over 2 hours but I could hang out in this salon all day. Good beer even better conversation. Looking forward to my next treatment in a few months!”

Most recently I had my hair done by Jazz and she gave me Hollywood curls to finish, which stayed in for 2 days - unheard of with my fine hair. Overall just a lovely independent salon.”
