Brasserie Blanc
● Open“Great atmosphere, very friendly staff, everywhere it was clean and well organised. In terms of food, we ordered Cheese Soufflé, Grilled Squid Salad and Mediterranean Fish Soup. All three were delicious. However, I would not recommend the Moroccan mezze platter, as it was of a tiny portion. Overall, I would still recommend this place!”

Megan's Battersea Power Station
● Open“First time visiting Megan’s and it was spectacular. We did have a long wait to order and had to grab the attention of staff a few times. However the food was incredible which made up for this. We got a platter and a few sides and each dish was so delicious. I would recommend booking in advance as it was a long wait for walk ins.”

Café Spice Namasté
● Open“The restaurant is located in a housing community 7/8 minutes from Gallions Reach DLR station. The isolated location is beneficial for serving the local community and knowledgeable food lovers. The bridge walk to the main entrance is spectacular and a sign of the delights to come. The decor is modern with wood and Arabic-style tiling. The servers are quietly hospitable and not aggressive like other establishments. It provides a homely experience and a sense of calm. The menu provides a fusion of Asian and European cuisine. There are various tasting dishes alongside the main cuisines. The food is excellent and provides a good array of flavours. The pepper beef tikka and lamb cutlets were a particular highlight. There is an extensive collection of malt whiskeys for connoisseurs, which provides an excellent range of choices. Those with dietary restrictions will find options limited to the savoury. The dessert options are heavily dairy-based. In part, due to the isolated location, there is no rush to leave once you have completed your meal and you can enjoy the company of friends. The prices of the dishes are a reflection of the area and a reasonable price of fine food. The servers will not pressure you to leave, which provides comfort. Upon leaving you are greeted well and have the knowledge of having experienced a special style of fine dining.”

Za'ta
● Closed“I had a pasta dish and a mocha, the pasta was very nice. The mocha was okay but what I wanted to say was the service was amazing. I am partially sighted and without having to ask the manager came up to me and offered to help it was gentle it wasn’t patronising and it really made my experience here lovely. In the restaurant doing fast food self service this is not the norm in an age of apparent inclusivity. Most chains do not cater for people with any kind of disability. Thank you Za’ta .”

Middletons Steakhouse & Grill Chelmsford
● Open“Early evening steak? Yes please? Early evening mixed grill? Oooooh yeah! We recently went to Middleton’s in Chelmsford for dinner before heading to Gaia at Chelmsford Cathedral as Mrs Foodmunkey has been craving steak throughout her pregnancy but it’s only now baby foodmunkey is here can she have it cooked properly. We had some amazing food… Fillet Steak Mrs Foodmunkey’s steak was cooked so perfectly to the point that we even thanked the chef on the way out. It was just the right amount of pink and medium just the way she likes it. Prime Mixed Grill Oh my god! A plate of meaty goodness! Fillet steak pink and perky in the medium rare juicy goodness kind of way just the way it should be. Piri piri chicken with just the right balance of heat and flavour Sweet sweet sticky bbq ribs with meat they just falls off the bone Barnsley lamb chop, something I hardly ever have but so tender and bursting with flavour! All served with my choice of side (Mac and cheese which was mind blowing just because I’m sure it was made with blue cheese!) Not to mention the onion rings and chilli and spring onion garnish, oh and the blue cheese sauce to dip my meat into! To top it off the service was lovely and very attentive and we already want to go back for more! If you haven’t been I encourage you to go!”

Zia Lucia - Wembley Park
● Open“Me and my partner always eat here when we come to Boxpark. The guys working here are really nice and have magic hands! We moved from Italy to he UK a couple of years ago and this is definitely the best pizza we tried since being here, real italian ingredients and the dough is always perfect and easy to digest (problem that I had in other places when the dough is not well leavened). The prices are also really good for the quality you get. Definitely deserves 5 stars!”
-
Sexy Fish
● Open“We came to Sexy Fish for our company Christmas party, as we came here previously in 2019 and the experience was enjoyed by all. This was the first year we managed to come back. We all enjoyed trying the varied cocktails. The food was amazing as always, of particular note was the Wagyu fillet, and the pork belly skewers which were spectacular. The sushi ordered was also well received by all members of the party, and the wine and whisky recommendations were excellent as well. It is a bit of a shame you cannot have the table for longer than 2 hours, but I do understand this is their peak time.”
-
