Aubaine
● Closed“So my girlfriend of 17 years fancied a french restaurant and while it's not traditional French food the quality is fantastic. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We got chatting with staff about all sorts of things and we felt very welcomed. They gave advice on the menu and we decided to try the calamari and baked cheese which were divine. There was a good portion of both and that cheese was so tasty. The mains were lobster pasta and the sauce was rich and hearty, the lobster was a good size. The wagyu sandwich was a good portion with tender beef. The desserts were so fresh, we loved the millefleur the cream used was so wholesome, the crème brulee was again this crème that hits the spot. They were so nice they gave us one of the desserts as it was my girlfriend birthday. Very kind of them. I highly recommend here for meals. Please press like if you found my review helpful. Thank you”

The Holly Trail Cafe
● Closed“Relaxed vibe friendly place - we popped in for some brunch and had a good time. Large menu & nice food, with outside eating area for warmer weather. They catered well for our toddler as well. A stones throw from the golf course and next to Chingford plain, it's great for grabbing some food mixed with a bit of nature. Also a short walk from the Queen Elizabeth Hunting Lodge & Connaught Water”

The coffee is delicious, I love a mocha with coconut milk and a special treat is the bailey's hot chocolate. The chai spiced coconut cake is divine. Everything on the menu is fresh tasting and made beautifully, my go to is the Wanstead veggie breakfast.”

Caffè Nero
● Open“Went there to try the caramel speciality which is vanilla sauce, caramel sauce latte. Was really tasty and the staff were exceptionally friendly. Very clean place and a lovely christmas vibe. Nice and warm inside with comfy seating. However the only one point I would like to add is, from observation I could see they are slightly under staffed and the wait time is roughly 10 minutes for a drink.”
