Royal Albert Hall
“Wow what a place, would have loved to give it 6 stars! I'd never came here before and on this visit we went for a behind the scenes tour followed by afternoon tea. The tour was hosted by a passionate and really friendly woman. She was so knowledge and had an amazing memory. The afternoon tea was delicious, there was an amazing range of sandwiches, scones and cakes. Everything was delicious and good portion sizes. Even got cake to take home.”
Wilton's Music Hall
“Excellent venue to see a show. More importantly, a pint of Amstel was a very reasonable £5.20 and a portion of fries £3.50. The seats aren't the comfiest and are pretty small and close together, but it's an old historic building so I'll let them off! From glancing around around the theatre, it didn't seem like any of the seats sold as restricted view online would be that bad at all.”
Invitation to Tuscany Ltd
“Dan and the team at Invitation to Tuscany are superb. The agency is responsive, factual in its representations and provide a great service. I have used them twice over the past few years to book in Tuscany and both holidays were filled with unforgettable memories. If you are considering booking, I can only say “do it, you will not second guess or regret the decision once there!””
Bankside Hotel, Autograph Collection
“Loved our stay at the Bankside! The hotel is fun, well styled and very comfortable with a gorgeous breakfast. The highlight of our stay was the extraordinary hospitality. Especially Mariana, whose customer service was truly world class. Her “the sky’s the limit” approach to anticipating and meeting our needs resulted in a fantastic stay, including booking in room massages for us. We look forward to returning to the Bankside!”
Palmyra’s Kitchen
“I visited this restaurant alone following a business meeting nearby. The staff were very attentive and took care of a special off menu food request for me. Food was superb. I can highly recommend this restaurant and I will be back for sure very soon. Thank you to all at Palmyra's Kitchen for a very enjoyable experience.”
Hampton Court Palace
“Lovely day out, huge amount to look at, the maze was smaller than I thought but still challenging. The magical garden is superb for the kids, glad we went there last otherwise we'd have spent the whole day in the play area! Take towels and maybe a change of clothes as the magical garden includes fountains and sand pits for the kids to play in.”
Tottenham Hotspur Stadium
“INCREDIBLE TOUR, dynamite fan shop, and overall amazing fan experience. We loved every second of our time here and we're Chelsea fans! The tour was well curated, expertly staffed, and we were shocked how much access we were provided. It was incredible to be able to walk out the tunnel onto the pitch, view the locker rooms, and really immerse ourselves in the whole experience. Really interesting learning about the NFL partnership and seeing those separate locker rooms. Bottom line is that Tottenham leadership was done a tremendous job of building a brand loyalty campaign just by virtue of having a beautiful stadium, huge gift store, and complete immersion in the entire experience. This is a new benchmark in building brand equity and I am thoroughly impressed. Downside--it's a looong transit from central London.”
Glasshouse Gardens
“Amazing location, 2 min to Stratford station, 2min to Olympic pool and the park, 2 min to Westfield shopping centre. High quality build with every detail well thought through. Best concierges ever, friendly and helpful.”
Theatre Royal Drury Lane
“Oh my, Wow, this theatre is well looked after from the impressive facade to the sweeping staircases this has it all in front of house, it's not let down by the staff either courteous friendly knowledgeable, but then you go into the theatre proper and it delivers, from the monogrammed carpet and beautiful velvet seating (also monogrammed) the whole thing is impressive, such wonderful sconces and architecture, you can even have afternoon tea there, either in a small piano side room or the main area. The stage is large and gives the stage show and visual prowess that is simply breathtaking. If you have tickets to a show here then you are definitely in for a treat.”
Thames RIB Experience - Tower Pier
“Complete life savers, after another company let us down when we booked a trip to scatter ashes, I called this company. Tina was out of this world, I explained our situation and she couldn't do enough to help. Booked our trip the same day and rescued the day. Thank you so much.”
Royal College of Physicians
“I went to the Careless motion: William Harvey’s experiment exhibition; and although I wasn’t fully mesmerised by it; I was very impressed by the building; it is a Grade I listed building and considered as a ‘building of national importance’; inside it is equally impressive, I particularly loved the Dorchester Library on the first floor and the central ‘floating’ staircase.”
Colman Coyle
“I have used Colman Coyle for two residential sale/purchase moves in London. They’re professional and diligent at a reasonable rate. I will definitely use again”
Triton and Dryads Fountain
“It was a sunny day and i was walking with a friend of mine. It was so amazing, i never been here before, but the fountain, the benches and all the plants around makes everything so relax and cool. The place is well maintain, tidy and clean! I really liked it and enjoyed it!”
Palace Theatre
“Ticket office is really friendly and helpful. The show was great and totally worth it. 5 hours past so fast that I don’t even feel it. Toilet are limited during the short break, there was a long line.”
Frankies Cafe & Restaurant
“They take good care of customers. The food is cooked as you like it, and its good. The staff keep the place spotless and have taken all steps to protect during the pandemic. This is a warm and friendly place where everyone is welcomed.”
Cambridge Theatre
“A lovely theatre, very reasonably priced. Matilda was amazing. The little girl playing Matilda (Laurel Sumberg) was out of this world. Best west end musical I have ever had the pleasure of watching! Looking forward to seeing it again.”
Farrants
“Have in the last 2 years bought many cigars a humidor and a cigar cutter from this great shop. The owner Dave is so helpful and friendly and a real expert. I might add the rest of the staff are great as well. Like stepping back in time. A real gem . Thanks”
National Trust - Osterley Park and House
“What a lovely place! We live so close but never actually visited. The kids all loved it!! Lovely paths and tracks as well as some good off-road walks/paths through fields and small wooded areas! The terrain all round is reasonably flat so easy to get round with a pram or junior bicycles and even easier for larger bikes or scooters. There is a a nice coffee shop which serves a good range of drinks and snacks/bites and the prices are reasonable. There is also a lovely seated area with plenty of benches just outside. Handy toilets are also close by - just be aware of timings. One surprise was the pretty cool bike track which has some good turns and undulations which is suitable for all ages - even with stabilisers!! Car park has plenty of space and again fixed pricing is reasonable, whether you want to visit for a couple of hours or spend the entire day! Really enjoyable, relaxing and highly recommended. We will definitely be visiting again.”
Kew Palace
“Lovely day out. Spent 4 hours there. Still so much left to see. Will be visiting again soon.”
Twickenham Stadium
“The home of English Rugby. I went to the Summer Bash between Harlequins and Gloucester and had an amazing day. The atmosphere within the stadium is amazing and you are really in the heart of the game. Food and drink within the stadium is expensive, but this tends to be the case at most sporting event (£14 for burger and chips and £6.50 for a pint).”
Chiswick House and Gardens Trust
“A classic designed house with acres of beautiful gardens, trails + a working kitchen garden. A wonderful day out exploring this place, have a picnic or check out the cafe with seasonal produce from the kitchen garden.”
Spencer House
“Little gem in the heart of London. It’s only open on the weekend and you need to book for an hour and a half tour of the house. Beautiful home, very friendly tour guide, amazing garden. I can’t recommend it enough if you like to visit beautiful homes and are into history.”
Barbican Centre
“Barbican is a great place for people who appreciate arts and other entertainment. It will always have something interesting going on, and you’ll always find something with free entrance as well. It’s definitely one of my favourites places to go in London. The architecture in the place it’s also super impressive and never fails to please with the aesthetic.”
Two Temple Place
“Amazing building very well renovated mid 20th century done with amazing craftsmanship They do expositions and free entrance definitely worth to walk in”
Shakespeare's Globe
“Been here multiple times and always had a blast. If you want to go on a guide tour, please book ahead. Try to book to see something in the smaller, more intimate indoor theatre or watch something in the Globe. Was fortunate enough to see The Tempest here last time I was here.”
Guildhall Art Gallery
“This was the first Art gallery I went to in London and I loved every minute of it. It was on a quiet morning so I had time to pore over pieces and explore every nook I had access to. I think I ended up spending about two hours in all. I relish every minute of it. I even got to see the ruin of the Roman amphitheatre and Londonderry. The pieces have rich histories behind them, some are displayed together. The staff are also helpful when asked.”
Phoenix Theatre
“"Come from Away" is a fantastic, heartwarming play. The theatre itself is quite large, but there's attentive staff placed strategically to help. Couple of tips: 1) If you walk upstairs, main ladies toilet is at the back of the back of the dress circle. Don't bother standing in a queue to the toilet near the bar, the one at the dress circle is larger and usually has no queue at all. 2) Grand Circle and Dress Circle are easy to get mistaken - especially that they have seats numbered the same way. If you are unsure just ask the staff - they are all very nice and helpful. 3) The show is quite long and has no break - make sure you buy your drink/go to the loo beforehand.”
Regent Street Cinema
“Great experience, a lot bigger than I expected so the back row was a lot further back than I'd imagined when booking. If I lived close by I'd pick this as my cinema of choice.”
Barbican Cinemas
“I love this cinema - from the world class programming, to the cosy seating & decor, the cafe which serves vegetarian/vegan foods, Pay what you can films on Fridays to the iconic architecture”
Apsley House
“I took a friend from overseas to this beautiful house in the centre of London ( It's not known as Number 1 London for nothing!) Everyone is so knowledgeable - but if I could just single out Martin for special praise - he took my friend under his wing and explained the house in the most simple way so that she could all understand the significance of this house and Walmer Castle - a place we visited earlier in the week. What a sensitive and kind man - not everyone is an academic and sadly some visitors come from countries who are insular and don't often travel outside of their comfort zones very often. Well done Martin for identifying her interest and enthusiasum but lack of English history.”
