“Great food. Nice people. They will cook for you fresh, and in a live barbeque oven with a coal fire. This gives the kebab a distinct pleasing aroma. Service is also very friendly. Downside: only cash payment is accepted. You can order online, but the online price might be a bit higher than the in-shop price.”

“Very lucky to have this cafe on our doorstep. Kate (the owner) and her team are always welcoming and make a special fuss of our dog Luna even if we just walk by. Great selection of cakes all lovingly made by Kate and a great selection of food for breakfast & lunch. Kate also runs a Supper Club on a Thursday evening where she creates a varied 3 course meal each week. We have been on several occasions & have been delighted with the dishes and wine. Highly recommend for brunch, lunch, amazing cakes or a treat at the Supper Club. Not forgetting the cakes made to order for any celebration. Ordered several for various family celebrations. All delicious & loved by all our guests!”

“I have recently developed a fear of flying and so I contacted Adrian for help. He was very professional and contacted me within 24 hours of my enquiry. We had a brief discussion on the phone before meeting in person and Adrian made me feel at ease. I was flying out within a week of contacting Adrian and he managed to fit me in the day before my flight. When we met we discussed a couple of different techniques and I found both very helpful. “Got recommended to this place from friends. We wanted some jewellery resized, but also something special made for our daughters 30th birthday. We also wanted a diamond removed from a ring and put a chain. We had the gold, and also the diamonds for the project. The price quoted was so reasonable, and considerably cheaper than another quote we were given. We were kept informed throughout the design process and called into the shop to approve the process along the way. The end products were unique, superb , and very reasonably priced. We particularly liked the personal attention the owners gave. A real Jem of a place , if you excuse the pun.”
