“NEED CAR PARTS? SHOP HERE FIRST!!! We have used Steve down at Coulsdon Autos for years and years!! So nice seeing a family run business ran well. If anyone can get it, Steve and the team can do try them first. He is also really reasonable on pricing so don’t assume they are expensive as they base their business on being fair and as keen as they can be on price. We are a big Renault garage in the same town and we use Coulsdon Autos weekly and could use loads of other online places but don’t for the reasons above. “Jamie gave me a hard time about my dog. I like that. Got a Pommy as wife and 4 kids didn’t want a German Shepard. I think I have the worse kept looking Pommy in Essex and I will try to do better Jamie. The fact Jamie took me to task in a kind way shows he is not a Slimy ar$e licking shop owner just in it for the money. I will always come back and I recommend to anyone with a dog like mine to come here for grooming . When my dog leaves this pet Spa I feel like I could pull off putting on a mini skirt and a blonde wig and pretend to be Paris Hilton walking with my Pommy under my arm. Previous pet groomer I went to butchered my dogs hair and I deeply regret going to any odd pet groomer. I should have gone to Pet Spa Essex and done the research. Come here for your dog grooming needs. Jamie also has the whitest teeth I have ever seen so bring sun glasses!”

“Have had two tattoos done here so far by Keely Glitters and they are outstanding. I will definitely be getting more. I have severe anxiety but found the studio to be a lovely, relaxing environment with cool music and I felt comfortable and chilled, she is a brilliant artist and a lovely person. The linework is flawless and I have never seen so many colours in tattoos before, I highly recommend. Everyone in the studio is friendly and all their art is fantastic. You can't go wrong by coming here- it is definitely worth travelling the distance if you live far away, even if you plan on coming from overseas.”

Because the toys I want are out of stock in America and jellycat is from London, I searched “jellycat” in Google Maps and saw there is a comment saying”a huge collection of jellycat” under “So Tiny London”. I went to So Tiny, there was no stock but Emma said she could help retain the toys when they are in stock and send toys to New York. Thanks Emma, I received the toys and they are very lovely.”

A while ago my servant Frank (Labradoodle) and I found this bijoux grooming parlour near our mansion overlooking the Thames - Frank went in and came out looking 100 times cleaner and actually quite intelligent (makes a change) and me? Take this with a grain of salt though as the selection of course changes depending on what the staff can get ahold off, the selection they have though is still very well curated and the staff couldn’t be more friendly. “Edit; I did end up going in and it is a pretty incredible store. Multiple types of unicycles, skateboards, mini bikes, juggling equipment and fire spinning toys. There are kites, infinite bands and tons of other circus supplies and fun gadgets. Definitely check it out if you're in the area. Only walked by, but from what I saw there is everything you could need if you want to join a circus, including juggling supplies; sharp, on fire, and blunt. Long boards, skate boards and the things you need to customize them. I will hopefully be going back to the cambridge market to check this place out in more detail, but until then this is all I know.”

“We absolutely loved this shop. They have several branches in the market, and the one we went to was on the ground floor behind all the food stores near the canal itself. The staff were amazing (a cute, very well dressed guy with shoulder length hair who we think was Spanish, and a lovely Italian girl who had more of a French accent and a big smile) and gave great advice on what would or would not suit us. I was after a waistcoat for my wedding and they had exactly what I was looking for, and in the end I also took a jacket and trousers. The prices are really competitive - around £240 for a cool, 3 piece tweed suit is amazing. One of my fave shops now.”

“Jasleen has become more of a friend throughout the process of buying a dress form Sequinze. She is personable, polite, honest and genuinely amazing at what she does. Sequinze collection is the best I’ve seen, from elegant threadwork and hand embroidery, the attire is never tacky or too shiny. The colour palette is incredible and the quality speaks for itself. Due to COVID and wedding postponements, I finally received my dress, and I can say it was definitely worth the wait! I personally bought a dress that was for a pre-wedding event, however would recommend all brides to look in Sequinze for the wedding dress too! Jasleen was extremely understanding when I wanted to change the colour, the dupatta material and when I requested extra fabric for a headscarf. She provided a full service and everyone was amazed at the clothes!”

“Good decorating shop, young lad who mixed my paint was very helpful, helped me carry stuff out to the van. Shop is well organised with a good variety of products and at very reasonable prices. Parking is a bit iffy, red route all the way, but do have a couple of bays outside the shop where you can load up.”

“I performed a lot of research into mid-to-high range kitchens such as Howdens and John Lewis. I found that their approach was too objective, too focused on getting a quick sale, and not considerate of what we needed. This prompted me to look at an independent seller which is how I was recommended London Koncepts. As this was to a be a 'long term' kitchen we wanted to ensure that we didn't want to rush our choice. The manager looked at our plans closely, asked us lots of questions what we were trying to achieve (we're a family house, needing more storage, we like cooking a lot etc), our taste and of course, our budget. The manager was able to show us a great range of designs and rather than focus on us buying the most expensive product, quickly understood exactly what we needed. He was right. The team came to our house that week to size up the fitting and within a few days we had a great set of 3D drawings. As our kitchen is in a basement, the manager was able to explain the sort of worktops we needed, lighting and all fittings. From start to finish, the manager appraised us at each step of the delivery process, and we didn't have any issues regarding the kitchen parts (nothing broken or missing) or the fitting. I can't recommend London Koncepts highly enough. It isn't Wren or B&Q, it's a lot better than those so please don't waste your time if you're looking for a cheap kitchen. We are absolutely thrilled with the kitchen thanks to the manager.”
