“Loughton movement clinic has transformed my life and I am forever grateful for all they have done and continue to do. Two years ago when I first walked through the door I was dealing with chronic illness and multiple physical injuries. I had an intense travel schedule and was living between London and New York. I had worked with multiple trainers in the past but no one compares to Joe and Chess. They both embody and practice what they instill in their clients. Beginning with the simple but effective philosophy of movement is medicine Joe skillfully designed a rehabilitation program to help my body heal and recover. He supported me when I traveled and his recommendations extended to my life style, diet and overall well being. Rather than focusing on the superficial Joe and Chess focus on health, self esteem and an appreciation of the human body and it’s potential. Joe is an incredible, skillful coach and adult educator who knows how to build on success whilst still knowing how to push when needed. Two years later I have thankfully recovered from my chronic illness and I can run in the park with my nieces and nephews and while traveling for work still maintain an exercise routine, even if that means dancing to Chaka Khan in my hotel room. Joe and Chess treat their clients like family, the attention and care they provide to each of their clients is so generous and heartfelt. Like many women I have struggled with my body image and fluctuating weight but through my experience working with Joe I now have a deeper appreciation and positive relationship and acceptance of my body and movement is part of my everyday routine. “First of all as soon as you walk into LMAT you find all the staff are so friendly and helpful. This immediately makes you feel relaxed and welcomed. The teaching staff are all highly qualified professional musicians that teach at your pace so you not only learn but you understand what you have learned everything is about you the student and everything is about giving you the best and most enjoyable learning experience. The premises are excellent and very well equipped with modern and traditional teaching aids. You can choose to learn to play an instrument just for your own pleasure or take it to the next level and study for exams. You can choose whatever exam body you wish to work towards your grades with. Finnaly I found the fees to be very reasonable and extremely good value.”

James is obviously very passionate about his craft and it shows in the way he handles himself towards his clients, he takes an active role in making sure whoever sits in the chair is comfortable and will offer his opinion of what will and will most likely not work for the look you are going for. It was refreshing to see the personal attention James gives to everyone that comes in, especially in an industry that has become over saturated in recent years with haircutters becoming more corporate-orientated and wanting to get as many people in and out of the chair as possible.
