“My place of Zen. I absolutely love here in all of the different seasons. In summer it is just beautiful, the walk to the leasowe lighthouse and to Hoylake and West Kirby is amazing. Great cycle route as well. Swam here last Christmas Day, whilst it was cold it was fantastic to do. It is a place of serenity, fun, peace, relaxation, contemplation, whatever you decide it can be. Keeping it clean is the most important thing though so make sure you take all rubbish away, people are very hot on that deservedly so. Enjoy.”

“Lovely park. We have been visiting for many years in mornings or early afternoons. Fab view to the Liverpool Skyline too. Lots of shady areas for digs in summer. Cafe , children's playarea and fab wooden sculptures.”

“Lovely little attraction on a nice walk. The sand is nice and soft too. Just be careful if your kids are a little unsteady on their feet because the step to get on is just a round log and is slippery even when dry. There is also a nice fairy garden a further 10 minutes down the path that has lots of models of houses made of twigs etc. And then fairys! Was a nice family walk out with friends in great weather.”
