“Lovely little gem of a park, that is very well maintained. Currently the lake has blue/green algae in it and warning signs around not to enter or let your dogs near. There's a tea shop in the old boat house and a play area for young children.”

“Great park, close to "Dream" but usually a lot less busy. The park is well maintained with ample parking off Gorsey Lane. We like to go off through the trails in the wooded areas, on a clear day you can see the tall buildings of Manchester.”

“I like Victoria Park - shame there doesn’t appear to be any toilets here which lets it down. Been here a few times with the kids - it’s flat enough for wheel chairs and scooter too which is a bonus. The park needs some attention as some of the items had damage on and some missing. But all in all a lovely park”

“Love my local park Ideal fir walkung the dog.. Wish some other dog owners would bin their dogs poo!!!! Irresponsible especially when kids play football etc on the grass. Grandkids love it because of the little play area and the climbing play area at the back...”

“We went to the Glass Museum with my son & his family visiting home from Australia, and my daughter who still lives here. We had a great time. We were all very interested in the exhibitions & enjoyed the glass blowing demonstration. The small shop is great & the prices are very reasonable. I have recently visited a place that sells the same kind of thing & the prices where extortionate.”

“Brilliant pub, favourite in the area very reasonably priced and warm welcome every time, the landlord is a lovely fella plenty of TVs and space to chill and watch sport darts boards and pool and nice garden in the back, best pub in the area”

“This is an excellent facility for the local community. It is public open space managed by St.Helens Borough Council. The large field contains a children's playground, a bowling green, three tennis courts and a football pitch. It is located in what was known as The Old Hall Estate and can be accessed from Scarisbrick Road, Lathom Drive and Croxteth Drive. It can also be access from The Linear Park and The Spinney.”
