“Popped in here for some lunch and to do some work after a quick search on Google. So glad I did! I had a lentil soup which was so tasty and a mocha. My partner took away a sandwich that they said was delicious. Staff were really lovely and accommodating, and there were some yummy vegan options! Friendly atmosphere, great service and seems to be a popular spot for good reason!”

“A lovely cafe on the Leeds-Liverpool canal. We only had coffee today, it was excellent. Around us, the breakfasts looked very tempting. Worth noting that Yours is the Earth is also dog-friendly.”

“Absolutely stunning pub... still has the good old rustic feel to it, with log burning fires. Friendly staff and a really good selection of beers, larger, cider, and spirits. They also have a few events throughout the year, as well as it being somewhere to enjoy watching your favourite sport. See you all again soon”

“Had a great nights stay at the Red lion. Rooms were spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Evening meal and breakfast were both very tasty and good value. Staff very friendly. I would stay here again.”

“Outstanding pib. Parking isn't great though. Very small. Carpark, awkward spots and lots of hopeless parkers. Inside is excellent, cosy mix of modern and oldy worldy. Big bar, great service. Recommend.”

“Really enjoy this pub. Went along to take part in Quiz night which is every Thursday and have to say that Richard does the place proud as he keeps things interesting with his wit. Also discovered he's a good entertainer as he also appeared on Sunday playing a guitar and singing. Staff are very friendly and helpful and like I said, quiz night is so much fun!”

“we celebrated our Diamond wedding on Sunday 28th August 2022 there were 21 of us including two babies. The room was beautifully and invitingly laid out .The food was excellent and we were well looked after by staff, even provided a bowl of water for 'well behaved' dog and a jug of water for flowers without being asked. Sharon helped us along the way, smoothing out any problems and queries we had beforehand. We would certainly recommend Holland Hall Jackie and Brian”

“Popped in with friends on a Saturday evening while visiting. It was busy, but the staff found a table for us all. Inside is comfortable clean and well decorated. We enjoyed the atmosphere so decided to have dinner. We all agreed the food was great and reasonably priced. Staff are really friendly and helpful, the manager was really funny and friendly. Lovely pub, lovely food, lovely atmosphere and excellent staff. Highly recommended.”
